Had a lovely stay at The Walnut Tree. All staff were very happy and nothing seemed to much trouble for them. They made our stay very enjoyable. Breakfast was excellent, with a good choice on offer. We had evening meal on our first night, and because it was so good, we ate there again the following night, which was equally as good. Brilliant chef and kitchen staff.

Some of the property was a bit dated. Some carpets could do with a good clean, or be replaced.

The staff were brilliant very welcoming and helpful. the accomodation was excellent value for money. We left too early for actual breakfast and the lovely lady knocked us up a little packed one instead which was great. Great atmosphere in the pub and an excellent pint all served with a smile.

Nice sized private property, great for getting the family together. Well equipped kitchen and plenty of room to relax outside. Upmarket foody pubs in the nearby village and plenty to do a short Uber / taxi ride away. Friendly and welcoming hosts to boot 10/10

The room was larger than expected. The first impression of the room was surprisingly good. The staff also were very professional and greatly to 'Liz's' credit. The quality of the breakfast was also good.

We would have preferred a room service - especially a top up of tea/coffee/milk. The third person had no bedside light. We would have liked extra access to electric outlets at the desk area. If one has an aversion to dogs then you may not appreciate that the manager has quite a number in the house. But this was not an issue for us.

Perfect location for St Pancreas. Easy access to underground, 2 minutes away. Small but comfortable room with everything you need, plus a complementary drink from the bar. Really nice touch.

Stayed at weekend was noisy as single glazed windows by a late bar.. Lodge looks a little tired chipped paint everywhere..3 people to share one little bottle of shower gel..should have had more available as advertised to have it we didn't bring our own.
