I stayed here with my wife and two adult children for three nights at the end of our most recent two-week stay in Italy. We wanted something central so that the kids could see Venice for the first time and this hotel fit the bill. The beds and pillows were our most comfortable for the duration of our two weeks here and the staff was accommodating and fantastic in helping us find water taxi booking out to the airport. The rooftop was quite enjoyable, but also slightly overpriced even for Venice.

The hotel is in the heart of Venice. It's so easy to get to the Rialto bridge or st marks square. Both are an 800m walk (roughly 10 minutes). The hotel staff are exceptional! Helpful, friendly, honestly so nice. The room was lovely. With storage for luggage and a cupboard for hanging clothes. The bathroom was exceptional - as with all Holiday makers, everyone loves a power shower on holiday and this place didn't disappoint. Finally, the bed. I'm a really fussy person on beds as a side sleeper. My experience in Italy in the past is that they love a firm bed - usually resulting in a bad back for my stay.. This wasn't the case. It was the perfect medium. I sunk into the bed on my side, but felt supported laying on my back. It was great!

Venice is an amazing city to Visit, It's really easy to get around using Public Transport. It is very hot and busy in August, so avoid those times if you can. Murano and Burano are easy to visit but public transport. Murano is where the glass is made and Burano is a really pretty island with coloured building and resturants. There are a few main atractions people visit. But just wandering around and seeing where you end up is great. There are loads of non-touristy resturants. Easy to find.If you head out away from the main areas. But we found Trattoria alla Madonna , Osteria Al Potego, Ristorante Bacarandino, really lovely stop right by Rialto for lunch or a drink was Osteria Al Sacro e Profano, Tratoria Cea

Venice /La Serenissima/ is amazing, the Art, the History, and the food, great place to explore, to wander the streets, the canals and to feel the times gone by when the was the center of the world. Leonardo and Galileo were in Venice planning the future, inventing new principles and putting the sun in the centre of our solar system.

Venice always welcomes with its beauty, history and people. Summer is crowded and hot/humid, but the vibe among tourists soaking Venice’s beauty and charm is fun. We enjoyed the food (plus lotsa gelato), The Doge Palace, gondola ride, trips to Murano and Burano. Transportation was really easy too. We sense gratefulness on both sides, the visitor and host. No wonder it’s always a TOP ten destination.

My second stay was at the Le Isole Hotel in Venice. Amazing breakfast (maybe even the best you can get in hotels in all of Italy of hotels of 3-star level), cleaning services, and very kind staff. The hotel is just in the center of Venice, a few steps from St Marco and it is super easy to get to the airport and back with the ferry which goes from the Venice airport because the station is just a few minutes walk from the hotel. Very calm, even if it's in the center, with clean rooms and good room service. I will be back again for sure!

Clean, comfortable, very friendly staff around 24/7, and our favourite stay of our whole trip around Italy. This hotel is in a quiet part of Venice, but not far away from the Grand Canal and other touristy spots in Venice. Our room overlooked the canal and the staff really looked after us! The bed was super comfy and the shower was wonderful - it was perfect for our few days stay in Venice. I also liked the fact the hotel staff would hold onto your room keys while you were out, which removed the stress of possibly losing them.

This must be one of the best hotels in Venice. Even though part of a large hotel chain, it still has the small family hotel atmosphere. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and nothing is too much trouble with staff going beyond their call of duty. The position of the hotel must be the best in Venice, literally on the Grand Canal opposite a beautiful church Santa Maria della Salute and only minutes away from St Mark's Square. yet still peaceful away from the crowds.

Accommodation in Venice is extremely expensive in general. I think that Hotel Rossi is the best place to choose if you are on a budget. It doesn't have to offer much(no view, it is a small room, a little bit old and the beds were cots, the bathroom was nothing special) but if you want to rent a rather cheap place to have a room to shower and sleep is the perfect choice.
