Liverpool is our family favourite city no matter how many times we visit we always want to return. The atmosphere and vibe overall is amazing it’s very busy yet not uncomfortable and hectic. Being number one supporters we shall always return. An those scousers who are born and bread always make you feel welcome from a taxi driver up to the local cafe to get your full English on bold street scousers are heart warming community. A late night walk down the docks is always a thing we do and you feel safe and comfortable to do so. Loads of shopping and availability and every food place you can think of whatever you feel like you will find it in Liverpool city centre. Liverpool like street station is a stone throw from everything you may need. A black cab from Liverpool lime street station can take you straight to the stadium at Anfield and the supporters shop for as little as £10 an you will always find a black cab outside the stadium to get you straight back to city wen your ready. Facilities were great everything on door step! Parking was a nightmare with disabled badge as nowhere had time limits ect, and nowhere tells you about it. (Rules differ from Iom. Overall great long weekend did so much safari park, we used codes from wocher and got good deal. We meet with family eat tons , pizza hut only order on phone or tablets wasn't great in liverpool one. Pizza express was amazing staff were fantastic best food the whole trip, but very busy, spent a ton of money and didn't even enter a shop but was a short trip over on boat from Iom definitely worth every penny. Even went to Southport dor swimming and parks. Kids enjoyed the go karting and arcades in liverpool ones entertainment center. Tons of history at museums superlambanana was fantastic. You are a 10 minute walk from the Albert docks. Parking was available and only £7 a day even on ladies day of the festival when we went. Paid £200 for 1 night which was okay as all hotels increase their prices for the festival. The hotel is a 3 star which could be downgraded to a 2 star in my opinion as the hotel is very outdated and in dire need of a refurb. The cost of the hotel stay was very good value. The hotel was in walking distance of the shops and Albert Docks. The beds were comfortable. The sofa bed pulls out to be 2 single beds which you have to throw sheets on to make up the bed ready to sleep and then a double bed is already made up.
