Rome is an amazing city, lots of opportunity to see great sites, you can walk, drive or use e scooters to get places in a heartbeat. The main sites are breathtaking but walking around is what makes you appreciate the city and its culture even more. When you are walking past sculptures, ruins and historical sites it takes your breath away. People are very friendly and welcoming and it truly gives you an experience what it would be like to walk in the Roman Empire.

Great of one day trip to look around city center.

Great of one day trip to look around city center. There are more locations in Italy which are worth visiting rather than crowded city center of Rome. Definitely you should visit Vatican once you're here, astounding place especially when you visit it first time. Don't forget to climb up the dome 561 steps uo to the top, but view is amazing (you can also see closed to public section of Vatican from above).

This historical buidlngs and history or Rome will just blow you away. From the Trevi Fountain, Colosseum, Spanish Steps, St Peter's Basilica, Sistene Chapel and Vatican Museum. We did them all and they didn't dissapoint. What you will find is the usual vendors trying to sell tourists water/tickets and also entice you into what can be expensive restaurants, especially in the centre of Rome. However, presume that comes with most capital cities these days during holiday season. 6 euros for 200ml of beer and 10 euros for a small tub of gelato are not uncommon... shop around! That said, an amazing place and if you look you can find little gems... like Le Saline Shop which was near the Colloseum... 3 euros for a beer! Rome is fab, the weather is hot but crowded during main holiday season. Definitely worth a visit.

Amazing city so much to see if you like the old sight seeing, weather was amazing. One thing we found is that you can walk to almost all of the big attractions without having to pay the huge sums for the Hop on Hop off tours which charge a lot of money. Metro super cheap and easy to use too.

Rome is the city of fountains and is best experienced by walking Its great the city has put in water filling facilities and charger stops so very tourist friendly- however in 40 degrees still hard to get around so plan to walk early and late and siesta in afternoon Only complaint is limited info re public toilets and most people resort to Mc Donald’s!

The best thing about Rome were the historical sites.

The best thing about Rome were the historical sites. I spent 5 days there and I barely scratched the surface. Around every street there's something to see. Some of the places I went to were the Colossuem, the Roman Forum, the Pantheon and the Spanish Steps. The restaurants were also quite delicious. Wherever I went, there was an overabundance of choice. I live in London and we have 11 underground lines but Rome only has 3. I thought it would be much harder to travel places but I found it easy. Whatever sites I visited, the train stations were only a few minutes away. The only thing I would avoid would be coming during the summer holidays. The weather was hitting 37-39 on most days

Piccola Navona was our best stay in Italy. Impressively clean and the staff were amazing, it’s location a plus. I have stayed in many 5 star hotels in the past, many of them not too accommodating. Alberto, Juliet, and the rest of the staff at Piccola Navona has been an absolute star, from arranging our transportation from the airport, to ensuring we had the correct mattress and pillows for our comfort, and having our room cleaned with fresh towels daily. We will definitely stay here again at our next trip to Rome.

We had to book this room at the last minute because a train strike in Italy forced a change in our plans. The best part was the helpful host, Sergio, who deserves a better place to work. The room was uncomfortable, hot (the air conditioning didn't work) and smelled of bleach. The hotel is in a grubby area of Rome, near the train station, that felt unsafe at night. We left as soon as we could the next morning.

The service was excellent; actually Next level. Not just the hotel welcome & what it had to offer, but assistance with our next venture in Italy. It really helps sell Rome (even when 38 degrees🥵)when you have staff like this at Viminale. If we ever go back to Rome, it’ll be staying here purely for the service we received.

The hotel was in close proximity to Trastevere and the bus to the Rome Termini. The room was large compared to the hotels we have stayed in when in Italy. The rooftop breakfast area provided a great view toward the centre of Rome. Definitely a recommendation.

The location is perfect and it’s near to the main station Termini that’s gives you access to the main spots in Rome. For the price it was worth it. We had the quadruple room and it was clean and a lot bigger than the rest of hotels we stayed in Italy.
