The hotel was within walking distance from almost every main stop, which allowed us to return to the room easily and take short breaks during the hot days in Rome. The room was clean and serviced daily. I would definitely consider staying here again. The staff were also very attentive – even though we arrived very late for check-in, the receptionist kept in touch and made sure everything went smoothly.

The Vatican

The world’s smallest state is also one of its most attraction-packed spots. As the center of the Catholic Church, Vatican City is full of breathtaking religious architecture and artistic treasures. Must-sees include the imposing St. Peter’s Basilica—so vast that the Statue of Liberty could fit comfortably under its dome—and the mesmerizing frescoes at the Sistine Chapel.

Impressing architecture, massive collons, even though it was crowded you dont feel it since the area is quite huge and there's no rush or any kind of panic by the visitors. People travelling there by themselves of with families, whenever tired always may have sit on the cool marble stairs and ground under the shadow of the buildings. Recommended to everyone visiting Rome.

Get a guide who doesn’t bore you to tears and also stop letting so many people in at one time. Too crowded, couldn’t see anything. Despite warnings to not use your camera in the Sistine chapel and to keep quiet, it was full of people talking loudly, taking photos and generally being pains in the ass!

Basilica closed due to the Conclave. Museum was awesome, but tour guide moved us through the throngs of visitors so quickly we couldn't really focus on the amazing exhibits. Interesting to note, they keep the windows open without glass or screens. Very old school - we liked it.

You will need at least a couple of hours to walk around the Vatican museums. It's one way system around the museums and is quite hot in some areas. We made the mistake of a tour round St Peters Basilica first and it was too much to do both in one day.

I had a great stay at this B&B. The apartment was very clean and smelled fresh. The room was spacious and comfortable. The location is excellent—just a short walk to the Vatican, and also very close to the bus stop and metro station for easy access to the center of Rome. Breakfast was tasty and a nice start to the day. The host was very kind and extremely helpful, which made the stay even better. Highly recommended!

Clean and spacious! Riccardo, our host, was very kind and helpful. He made sure my father can be safely accommodated and even provided wheelchair so he can get around The Vatican. He also got him a shower chair making it easy for father to freshen up. The apartment is very close to The Vatican and Rome’s major landmarks. This apartment is perfect for family stays.

The room is clean and cozy! Especially the washroom. The hygiene standards are completely in accordance with the hotel! The owner will welcome you warmly and patiently according to the agreed time. If you are traveling in the Vatican, the location is very good! It's very convenient to go anywhere. The house is on a slope, and the roof of St. Peter's Basilica at night is beautiful! There are many restaurants and coffee shops downstairs. Of course, it's also very fast to go to the city center of Rome!

Terrific staff, and very accommodating. The facilities were superb and spotless including the room and the common sitting room. This was the most comfortable bed we both have slept in in a hotel in Italy, and we have stayed at many. The breakfast was truly outstanding. It would have held up well at a restaurant with a Michelin star. We stayed here for proximity to an appointment, but it was blocks away from the Vatican and on a street with plenty of shopping, cafes, and restaurants. Highly recommend.

The location of this apartment is absolutely outstanding. The bed was comfortable, the sofa bed wasn't bad, the kitchen is extraordinarily well equipped. It was very clean! And also very quiet considering how centrally located it was. The walk to the metro station is quick and easy, access to the Vatican is also quick and easy. I would totally recommend to any friend or family member traveling to rome.

The apartment is very close to the Vatican Museum. And 10 min walk to the metro. With the metro you can go to all the sights and churches. Usually within a 10 min walk from any metro exit. The apartment was great for a family of six. We where all comfortable and if we visited Rome again we would book it.
