The room was big enough for a family of five. It had a good size desk and a minibar that the stuff restocked every day. The breakfast was better than the standard English breakfast. There's a good-sized indoor swimming pool and a kids' room with Foosball that was mostly vacant

    A real home from home - Mel was a lovely host and her home was very comfortable with more amenities than you often find in a hotel. Breakfast was fabulous with a selection of items to suit all guests - and the lovely treats provided in the bedroom were an added bonus. Location was also perfect for the purposes of my visit to Sheffield. Would not hesitate to recommend a stay at The White House for anyone wishing to visit Sheffield.

    The room was in a great location however the windows were black around them, had damp and one of the windows was cracked. No water in the bedroom, even the most basic hotels leaves you drinking water, I went to buy a large bottle of water at the bar, he went off and came back with a small one saying that's all they had, a charge of £3.50 The bed was rather lopsided.
