It's not a place if you don't speak Spanish.
It's not a place if you don't speak Spanish. I got on the beach and I could not get off because there was no exit to get off it was all private with fences. No seemed to speak English or help. It's not friendly and very aggressive to you as you walk through areas. Better figure out how to get. Pesos and then figure out how to use them. Very disappointed for a place that hardly anyone knows English for a place like Cancun.

This is absolutely my favorite spot to vacation .. the people, the beaches, the weather .. it is just so beautiful. At no time did I ever feel unsafe. We took buses, taxis, and walked places and had no problems at all. Xcaret is a must - the wildlife and natural beauty is breath taking. We ate at our resorts most of the time, but we did go to a couple little taco spots. Everything was good. We visited Juarez Beach, Isla Mujeres, Playa del Carmen, and ventured to some cenotes. The people are absolutely awesome and truly treat you like "familia" if you show them you are interested in them and their culture.

Everything was perfect.
Everything was perfect. During our trip we visited Tulum, Playa del Carmen, Cozumel and Cancun.
The 2nd day we took an amazing snorkeling tour in PC and the 3rd day we went to Xcaret…the most amazing place that has everything. My favorite part…Mexico Spectacular Show 😍😍😍!
The last 2 day in Cancun we stayed in the hotel and its beach and we had a walk to the night club area and restaurants.
We did something different everyday, including where and how we ate. Some days we cooked in our hotels because it’s pretty easy to get groceries or to eat in a local market!
We were really tired the last days but I didn’t want to go back home yet, I still wake up at home wishing I could go out to enjoy that surprisingly spectacular landscape!
Everybody can see there’s never enough time to know everything The Riviera Maya offers!!

Cancun is beautiful.
Cancun is beautiful. The beaches are amazing and the nightlife was so fun. I enjoyed the street food and drinking margaritas. Be selective of where you book your stay. My hotel was unfriendly (Adhara Hacienda) to me. They ruined my trip. Do not book here!
The hotel is located at the Hotel Zone in cancun. You can reach the hotel with a taxi (a reservation ahead would save some money for you) or with two buses (Ado Bus to downtown and then R1 or R2 to Joya Hospital). If you decide to take the bus route you should some money at the airport.
The room was very very very big and the beds were sooooooo comfortable. The employees were really nice and friendly and tried to communicate with us in English. There is a free trip to a tequila Tasting, some Mexican products and the cancun sign at the beach.
the location and rooms where good. the best part of the hotel are the employees. they are above and beyond great. i am sorry they have to deal with the worst american and canadian people behaviours. more control and rules could help them in the everyday, Issac at the beach, Bernal at the pool and the animation team are fantastic.
it was my bday celebration, i am not an all inclusive person but ur staff made me feel like a super star.
staff are wonderful waiters/es, room services, managers literally everyone. the food is great. they made all effort to accommodate my son “gluten-free” diet due to his allergy. I really enjoyed enjoyed the all inclusive package especially that you can make booking at other sister resort’s restaurants. many are accessible via the hotel shuttle. make sure to try the activity center. they have great water games and salsa class
The condo had the most amazing view. We also had a cat that came to visit and get milk every morning. This condo was far away from tourist trap so it was immersing in local living. I was very happy with the condo, but keep in mind mexico is not America. You are not in a 5 star hotel. But you get to experience a closer taste of the culture. There is a small private beach here as well if you want to go down stairs to it.
Great value for money, although I wouldn't give it 5 star. The location is great, the hotel itself is a little bit old but well maintained. The rooms are big and comfy. The all inclusive was great and there were many restaurants to choose from except the buffet, Italian, French, Japanese etc. The beach was clean, but the location of Cancun is very windy, so you cannot really swim. The room service was great.
We stayed 2 nights - just a chill after travelling around Mexico. Close to airport which was ideal and we didn't leave the resort for the time.
You have the beach and the pool for options.
Always enjoy all inclusive and staff are good at both pool/beach keeping your drinks topped up
Staff are helpful - Bell boys got our taxi etc and deal with luggage quickly and not tip focused at all which is good
Royal Solaris was a wonderful value. We spend 8 night and days. It's an older hotel and well maintained. Wonderful staff and we were impressed with how good the food was. We loved being able to go to GR Caribe next door as well and preferred the quieter low key environment. We've stayed at a dozen or so Mexico All Inclusive's and this one is a top notch value.
The food was appalling the bars closed at ten 30 that's not all inclusive you had to constantly sign for anything - the breakfast service was terrible and the selection of food the worse I have ever seen for a 5 star hotel - the restaurant was too small to accommodate the guests and food options diabolical - how can an Italian swap mash for lasagne
The location is great, it is right on the beach and easy to access from the busier parts of the hotel zone / Cancun downtown via bus or taxi. The staff was friendly and helpful. Communication was easy with the owner via what’s app. As you can expect, it is not a luxury stay but it is a good deal if you have that in mind with your expectations!
Meets all the NH standards we were looking for. Excellent breakfast and dinner, nicely decorated room with confortable beds. The staff was super friendly and everything went perfectly well. The ideal place to stay if you need a hotel near Cancun Airport before or after a long flight.
hotel is completely new so the facilities are great. nice room and bathroom, a great pool and the restaurant was surprisingly fairly price (I always find them overpriced at airport hotels)
location was amazing you can walk to the terminal and avoid the scam that are taxis in cancun
The location. The Hotel Colonial Cancun is near everything you need: Restaurants, supermarket, small shops, the ADO bus station, etc. The hotel is also next to Tulum Avenue which is the main route to visit Playa del Carmen and other places on Quintana Roo state, Mexico.
This is a very charming boutique hotel. Comfortable room for 4 and great breakfast. Lovely pool. We spent one night after arriving at Cancun, if you are looking for charming first night in Cancun, i can warmly recommend this hotel.
We were travelling on a budget, needing proximity to the airport for an early flight. Basic room and relatively cheaper than other more refined airport hotels in Cancun - ok value for the price charged.
I greatly enjoyed my stay at Grand Oasis. Twice that I have reserved this same All Inclusive hotel and enjoyed my stay the same as the first. Excellent staff and enjoyed all attractions hotel offers.
The facilities were very clean and new. The buffet was better than most regular all inclusive hotels. The rooftop was the best part of the hotel, although it wasn’t part of the all included program.
The hotel is FABULOUS but the food is really poor (normal for an all inclusive I guess). Great Spa! And great for couples! Has a bit of a party vibe so not for romantic getaways. Great service too!!
you definitely get what you pay for. all inclusive is of poor quality at this price, otherwise the hotel would be losing money. staff was not stellar by any means.
Hotel was all inclusive but it has set hours for serving drinks and food. The beach is rather small. Breakfast was delicious.
I feel it was okay for the money.
The hotel was gorgeous and very clean. The beach in front of the hotel was clean and free of debris. The food was very good, especially for an all inclusive.
