This is absolutely my favorite spot to vacation .. the people, the beaches, the weather .. it is just so beautiful. At no time did I ever feel unsafe. We took buses, taxis, and walked places and had no problems at all. Xcaret is a must - the wildlife and natural beauty is breath taking. We ate at our resorts most of the time, but we did go to a couple little taco spots. Everything was good. We visited Juarez Beach, Isla Mujeres, Playa del Carmen, and ventured to some cenotes. The people are absolutely awesome and truly treat you like "familia" if you show them you are interested in them and their culture.

Everything was perfect.
Everything was perfect. During our trip we visited Tulum, Playa del Carmen, Cozumel and Cancun.
The 2nd day we took an amazing snorkeling tour in PC and the 3rd day we went to Xcaret…the most amazing place that has everything. My favorite part…Mexico Spectacular Show 😍😍😍!
The last 2 day in Cancun we stayed in the hotel and its beach and we had a walk to the night club area and restaurants.
We did something different everyday, including where and how we ate. Some days we cooked in our hotels because it’s pretty easy to get groceries or to eat in a local market!
We were really tired the last days but I didn’t want to go back home yet, I still wake up at home wishing I could go out to enjoy that surprisingly spectacular landscape!
Everybody can see there’s never enough time to know everything The Riviera Maya offers!!

Cancun is beautiful.
Cancun is beautiful. The beaches are amazing and the nightlife was so fun. I enjoyed the street food and drinking margaritas. Be selective of where you book your stay. My hotel was unfriendly (Adhara Hacienda) to me. They ruined my trip. Do not book here!

Be aware that some places in Cancun are getting a tourist trap. The city is getting more and more visited and some areas are fully packed and impossible to get though. Chose carefully your stays and beaches to visit (north is always a good option)

I would not book Moon Palace through booking.com again.
I would not book Moon Palace through booking.com again. Using an intermediary meant communication with the hotel was very poor. We were giving a booking number, which the hotel acknowledged, but the app didn't, which meant using the app for pre check in wasnt possible. Payment was taken without notification of how much (it was the full amount) or exactly when. The transfer to the hotel from the airport was a bad start to the holiday. It was difficult to find the bus stop ( local taxi drivers directed us), and the Moon Palace staff were not very helpful or pleasant at the airport. My son and his family on a different flight were told they weren't on the list, and to get a taxi. The hotel later insisted they were a 'no show' and refused to reimburse their cost of the taxi. Turns out despite booking and paying with the hotel directly, they never received an email with any directions. Without these difficulties, this would have been a glowing recommendation, as staff at the Sunrise, and facilities were exceptionally good.
Very comfortable studio with more than I needed for my short stay. Bus stop for the beaches (zona hotelera) is minutes away and was way more easier to use than I thought (12 pesos or 1$ at the moment) - just look for the Walmart not far away. If you have travelled around Mexico you know the concept of “Plunge Pool” - this is kind of pool to be expected there and perfect to cool off. CheDraui and Walmart not far away to stock up on sun lotion and food. Won’t hesitate to come back here when I have a stop in Cancun.
The property is shared with the Óleo Boutique All inclusive hotel, the security at the entrance is great.
The apartment is comfortable, equipped with everything you need while away from home.
The bed is very comfortable, the bathroom has a strong hot shower with great water pressure to fi ish your day.
The lady who owns the property is amazing, she is in communication with you as guest to ensure your check in process and anything you need is well taking care of.
I am very grateful for my stay at the property.
Amazing! THE BEST HOTEL WE'VE BEEN TO IN CANCUN AREA.
After almost 2 weeks of visiting Mexico and Cancun area, and staying in 4 different hotels, in different cities including in Cancun as well - I can guarantee the this hotel is absolutely THE BEST we've been to.
The rooms (with ocean view) are amazing, the service, the fabulous restaurants and bars and all around is more than amazing.
Definitely will recommend this hotel and will be back next time when in Cancun to stay there longer!
The front desk staff was pleasant. Cesar (I hope I got his name right) was awesome. He wasnt checking me in but came over and starting giving me information about the hotel and amenities. Check in was a breeze..no wait at all. My room wasn't ready but I asked for one that was and with no hesitation, they gave me one. The food was just okay but the Mango daiquiris and Miami Vice was the bomb. I got all inclusive but not sure if it was worth it or not😕
The perfect hotel just 10min from Cancun airport. Rooms are big and clean. Big breakfast buffet with an excellent green juice and choice of delicious food. The staff are very nice and friendly especially Victor working at the restaurant. The restaurant is huge so there is space for all. The poolside was nice and relaxing with many sun-beds.
All was perfect in this hotel and we will stay again a night if we come back in the region.
staff are wonderful waiters/es, room services, managers literally everyone. the food is great. they made all effort to accommodate my son “gluten-free” diet due to his allergy. I really enjoyed enjoyed the all inclusive package especially that you can make booking at other sister resort’s restaurants. many are accessible via the hotel shuttle. make sure to try the activity center. they have great water games and salsa class
My first experience at an all-inclusive resort was at the Grand Park Royal Cancun and I left it very dissatisfied. Firstly, it is an all inclusive hotel, but they are always trying to sell you something extra. It gets to be embarrassing. Secondly, the food in the restaurants is poor. thirdly, the pool is small and has few sun loungers. A lot of people want to put their towel on the sand. The service also lacks friendliness.
we spend an afternoon and a night, had a breakfast in the morning, before leaving Mexico via Cancun airport. location is great for this purpose, short walk from ADO station. rooms are quite spacious, kids were impressed with the 'decor' of the place and enjoyed the pool very much. the staff was nice and efficient. breakfast in the hotel cafe was good and inexpensive (85 pesos for scrambled eggs with ham+american pancakes).
Nice hotel to stay a day or two before taking a flight from cancun airport. From the hotel to the airport it’s a 20-30min drive by taxi (400 pesos) and the bellboy can arrange the taxi transport for you. Rooms are spacious, big pool and a gym as well. Breakfast buffet has lots of options. Wifi works really well. It’s a 6-10 min walk to ADO bus station, a mall, convenience stores and restaurants/bars as well.
The staff were kind, helpful, they speak english very well. The hotel looks beautiful with it's inner garden and the rooms are modern. This might not sound a big deal but they even thought of installing freshwater tank which I've not seen anywhere else during my stay in Mexico. I would recommend this place to anyone arriving to or departing from Cancún to stay at least 2 or 3 nights rest.
Amazing location, right on the beach. You can buy the all inclusive at the hotel for £32 approx each. We only stayed 2 nights but tbh that was enough for us. We are not a massive fan of all inclusive food etc but it was a nice treat post 24 hours of travelling. Great beach and pool. TV with netflix if you want to watch a film in the evening or something.
The breakfast buffet at the hotel was great. Location was ideal if arriving late at night from Cancun airport. Secure gated car park is a plus and important if you hire a rental car in Mexico. The pool area looked really nice even though we didn't get a chance to swim. The man at the counter was helpful with all the questions and queries we had.
Staff is extrmely friendly. The food was good, bartenders very, very fast and followed any specifics on your drinks. Activities along the days are very good both for family and friends. I've been on 4 all inclusive hotels in cancun (including Hilton and Hardrock) and this one was much better in every aspect.
the location of the property is amazing proximity to all the great things in the hotel zone :) I only stayed one night but it would be a good base if you like to party and want to hang out it Cancun for a while! the airport shuttle too was convenient! free breakfast is always a plus :)
We stayed here one night because the next morning we had to catch a flight at Cancun Airport. The hotel is perfect if you just want to stay one night. It has a good central location near a lot of restaurants and very close by the ADO bus station. Also the rooms are clean and spacious.
The hotel is downtown, right across from ADO, so perfect if you need to travel to the airport or are going on from Cancun. Also, the staff is exceptionally friendly, especially the waiters in the dining room.
The location is great, especially for those who are gonna travel by land the next morning and planning to stay near the airport for a night. Price for the food is expected as its not an all inclusive hotel.
really nice modern hotel in Cancun. we were going to Cancun for our final evening in Mexico from Tulum so really didn’t want a party spot & this was perfect. away from the hotel strip
All inclusive was not like the other hotels with low quality food, in fact you could get the meals and drinks from four restaurants next to the hotel where their food was amazing!
