Location. Literally walk 5 minutes from terminal to hotel to this lovely hotel. For early morning departures it’s perfect. We woke at 2:30am and walked to the airport at 3am. The whole route is well lit up and felt super safe. The hotel is clean, beds & room comfortable plus if you want they offer breakfast starting at 2am. Once checked in we took a driver into Lisbon & back. We would stay here again for sure.
Just a 5-minute drive from Lisbon International Airport, this 3-star hotel offers modern rooms with a flat-screen TV. Facilities include a 24-hour reception.

We decided to stay at a hotel named after the iconic writer and poet Fernando Pessoa, who authored a tourist guide to Lisbon many years ago. In the city center, there are numerous beautiful locations associated with Pessoa's legacy. As a result, our time in the city transformed into an exciting quest to explore these places.

One of the best places in Europe to visit.
One of the best places in Europe to visit. The reason, many but to mention some: the hospitality, the food, the weather the multiculturalism, the smells the light is just great. And if I may get you attention into 1 of the best restaurants Sant'Avo in Largo de Graça.

The central part of Lisbon is easily accessed on foot.
The central part of Lisbon is easily accessed on foot. For farther afield places, there is a very reasonable renewable subway pass and we used it several times to access these. We never used a taxi. We had to visit both a vet (to get a Eu pet passport) and emerg dental visit, in vastly different parts of the city, and all went well

Planning the daily routes was a bit challenging as the bus/...
Planning the daily routes was a bit challenging as the bus/tram company doesn´t print their route maps any more.
Metro lines are easy and clearly marked, but where do the buses go, is a mystery for travellers. People tried to find their way having a mobile phone always in hand, but I wouldn´t suggest that - there are really a lot of pickpockets around.
As Lisbon is dispersed widely in many areas far from each other, walking on the cobble stone streets steep up and down serpentine roads, is quite exhausting.

The stay in the apartment was perfect................
The stay in the apartment was perfect................ BUT immediately after returning home we were plagued by flea bites and have observed live fleas in our trousers. This agrees with the fact that your apartment was inhabited by (a very friendly and interested) cat. We therefore encourage the host couple to spray for fleas and provide the cat with an "anti-flea collar", which will eliminate the problem in a short time. The content of this email may be removed when the host couple has acted on this review...............

Well, don’t want you, all readers, to get it wrong, but this class of hotels are not usually available in this applications. It’s the best hotel by far, that I have been in. It is what a 5 star hotel should be. Besides that It’s brand new, the staff at front desk are just pristine. I ordered what I thought just a regular breakfast with granola-maple syrup-bananas-dry fruit etc, and I just had a explosion of flavors in my mouth, the ingredients are the best quality and freshness.
Just about anything - in particular the kindness and helpfulness of the staff. I travel extensively (at least pre-Covid) but how you are treated in this hotel is par to the best 5 stars in the world. An extra thanks to the bartender (whose name I do not remember but who introduced me to amazing wines) and the two ladies who did the free guided tours, Mrs. Silvestre and Mrs. Guitana.
A fantastic Palacio to stay, in one word amazing. Great staff, delicious- extensive- high quality breakfast buffet, spa, super comfortable room, tram stop in front of the hotel, etc. Already stayed in many different 4 and 5 star hotels in Lisbon, also "palace-type" but Palacio do Governador is the real top class.
5 star service throughout and you’re treat like a VIP. One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in and can not fault the service of every single member we encountered. Hotel itself is beautiful with an amazing selection for breakfast.
