The room was by far the most spacious and very clean. While there was an issue with water temperature, staff worked quickly to fix it and were really lovely.

Wonderful, World Heritage site Bath is an impressive mix of Georgian architecture and Roman legacy. Its most famous landmark is the fantastic, natural hot spring Roman Baths. Although everything above the pillar bases is from a later period, you still get an idea of its appearance in Roman times. Sadly you can’t bathe here, but across the street the rooftop pool at Thermae Bath Spa offers views of Bath Abbey and the surrounding hills.
Check out the stained-glass windows in the abbey, England’s last remaining Gothic church. Its square houses Pump Rooms dispensing hot spring water from the Roman baths.
Just behind, the Parade Gardens by the Avon River overlook Bath Rugby Club, the multi-level Pulteney Weir and registered historic Pulteney Bridge, lined with shops. Other Bath shopping options include Southgate Shopping Centre, the bohemian Walcot Street market, and brand-name stores on Milsom and George streets.
North is The Circus, a circular square lined with Georgian townhouses, only marginally less impressive than the Royal Crescent down the road. You can now visit number 1 Royal Crescent, restored to its 18th-century glory.
Before heading to Bristol Airport from your Bath hotel, take time to try the famous Sally Lunn Bun and stop at the pleasant pubs along the Kennet and Avon Canal.
Fantastic place. Lunched at the Square Grill over looking the Abbey. Dined at Ponte Vecchio over looking the weir. Cannot fault either. It was graduation day and so very busy so I’m glad I booked our restaurants in advance. Went to the Roman Baths which was superb.

We mainly came to Bath to visit the Thermae spa - which did not disappoint. We also used the City Sightseeing bus to travel around the city - and it was lovely to get more information on beautiful Bath and its history. We arrived on Friday and left on Saturday. It was extremely busy! But not anymore than you would expect from a popular tourist destination.

The huge number of people there was overwhelming.
The huge number of people there was overwhelming. The lack of a visitor information site was really problematic. The multiple and simultaneous tours gave an overcrowded feel and the Thermae Spa Bath experience very underwhelming. I suggest people make a bee line for the wonderful Prior Park and then S Sidney Park and Holbein Museum, the first one a National Trust Property. The numbers of street sleepers, alcoholics/mental health residents increased over the 4 days I was there.

Beautiful city with great architecture and many historical buildings.
Excellent for shopping in the city centre. Fabulous parks and open spaces. Fab selection of bars and restaurants, including lots of independent places.
The Raven is a characterful old pub, where they serve great pie and mash and I would highly recommend Walcot House for delicious food, great wine and they also have a late night bar downstairs.
This is a lovely hotel in the centre of Bath, with beautiful spacious clean rooms. Then Penhaligons toiletries were a lovely addition. The hotel also has a beautiful garden and terrace which serves possibly the best pizza ever. Notably this hotel has the loveliest of staff, who are obviously very happy and enjoying their work. You are looked after exceptionally well. There was nothing we didn’t like about this hotel. We have family in Bath and this is where we will be staying from now on.
Compared with other hotels in Bath this is the best we have stayed at. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, the hotel is spacious and the decor relaxing and well presented. The breakfasts were very good and service was quick especially as there was a limited number of staff. Good parking facilities were a plus as it avoids all the messing with meters and moving vehicles around. No hotels in Bath are cheap but we considered this hotel to be good value.
An absolutely gorgeous boutique hotel in the best location in Bath. The room was huge and beautifully decorated with a huge bath tub. Breakfast was delicious. It was our honeymoon so they gave us a glass of prosecco on arrival and decorated the room with petals, it was such a lovely touch, and the staff were so accommodating. I can't wait to go back again!
Hotel was a 10-15 min walk from Bath City centre through the lovely hotel gardens and Stanley gardens, there is a great spa with indoor and outdoor pools, bed was large and super comfortable. The staff at reception were very polite and friendly.
