So much to see, so much to do.
So much to see, so much to do. Great shopping and great to tour too. Hop on a yellow Liverpool tour bus, fantastic way to get orientated as to where things are. You can also hop on and off the tour bus to see some of the sites and the ticket lasts you all day! The docks are amazing. Again, lots to see and do. Have a boat trip on the Mersea, visit a museum, walk along the promenade and into the docks and enjoy great food at one of the many restaurants and cafes at Albert docks. What I like the most was endless entertainment, lots of places to eat. The locals were very friendly and helpful. The city has a great atmosphere. I will certainly return again in future. A really interesting city, with a variety of areas, all of very different character. Have never met such lovely or friendly people in my life - and I travel a lot! Our hotel was perfectly located for all the action. A shame the museums at the Albert Locks were closed for refurbishment. Disappointed in the Cavern. Liverpool is such a great City to visit - especially if you are a Beatles fan! The people are friendly and there are some great restaurants, bars and eateries. Plenty to do for everyone, museums, galleries and beautiful architecture.
