Painswick is a quaint beautiful town. The Rococo Gardens are stunning and we visited the church but I didn't snap photos of it. The restaurant at The Painswick is excellent. Local charity shop! Well stocked and sometimes has interesting objects. Worth checking out. Local arts centre and a tea place nearby. Dog friendly zone in the local recreation ground. We stayed at Tibblewell Lodge which is a fantastic place to visit in this beautiful village. The village has a small shop but it has most things and you can always find a treat or two. There are a few places to eat and drink in the village and the choice and quality of food was fantastic. Painswick is great just to walk around although hilly there is plenty to see and the church is a nice little respite area to sit and relax. We were welcomed by Kate upon arrival who was super friendly and helpful, and the cottage absolutely exceeded our expectations. It had all the necessary amenities and more, including a welcome drink with several snacks, and various pamphlets on things to do in the Cotswolds area. The cottage was very cozy, comfortable and peaceful, with stunning views over the farm and beyond. Great location within walking distance from the town of Painswick.
