The location is perfect—close to the park, excellent specialty coffee spots, and downtown. The hotel ambiance is beautiful, reminiscent of a small luxury villa, making the stay feel cozy and elegant. The room was clean, but smaller than expected for the price paid. We were asked to pay for an additional room because the one we booked couldn’t accommodate our family. Overall, it was a good experience thanks to the lovely setting and location, but the small room sizes are something to keep in mind.

Good location close to the station, shops etc. Good sized room and bed. For a Saturday night in late June, good value. No A/C on a hot night but fan and a sleeping pill worked!

Very clean and up-to-date flat in a great location. Wonderful rain head shower, comfortable bed, and all the cooking equipment one could need. Highly recommend early morning walks along the Thames Path (take the back route across Richmond Green and down Friars Lane or Old Palace Lane for more interesting sites). Easy location for access to Richmond Station as well as walking to Kew Gardens, Ham House, Strawberry Hill, and Richmond Park, among others.

Lovely village feel with a great variety of upmarket shops although mostly chain, there are some independents. Great restaurants along the river and a nice walk. The Green is also pleasant - spoilt for choice on pubs and restaurants in the area to choose from. Easy to get to via tube or train. Feels relatively safe after hours.

The atmosphere in the sunshine around the cricket green and along the river was brilliant. Some great places drink such as Tap Tavern, the Cricketers and White Cross and eating at Adesso and the Argentina Steak House

Very friendly staff. Rooms were clean. Food was good and reasonably priced, as were the drinks, given the hotel is so close to London. Excellent sports facilities, but unfortunately we didn't have time to make use of them as we were visiting the tennis championships at Wimbledon.

The town and surrounding areas were very nice.

The town and surrounding areas were very nice. Richmond Park is great to walk around. However, simply walking around the roads, taking in the beautiful houses with their diverse styles and architecture, is truly fascinating. (And there are no giant gates.) Came across a lovely pub (The Plough, think it was in Sheen?) The town center boasts numerous charming independent shops and a variety of excellent dining options. The choice is endless. I would go back for 3 days with my wife (went with my son to watch rugby this time)

The staff at the hotel were extremely helpful and accomodating. The Hotel was a short walk from the station with links into London and also a short walk into Richmond. The room was well equipped and clean. We arrived early and the room had been prepared for our early arrival so we were able to check in. The car park was small but we were lucky enough to get a parking space which was a huge bonus. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it.

We had a delux queen room and this was lovely. My daughter and grand daughter stayed in a standard room, and for this type of hotel and for this price the room was very, very small. There was a problem with the window in her initial room so she was moved and the second room was a little larger, but still very small. Location is lovely, but if visiting London is part of your journey, the public transport links aren’t great.

Very impressive reception area and beautifully decorated. Staff were very accommodating and although you have to pay for parking we were able to leave the car there after checkout for a quick look around Richmond. Hotel is perfectly situated for Richmond shops and train station making it very easy to travel into central London.
