Quirky and original in style but not over the top! Very well located with a direct view if the beach. Steve the owner/ “narrator” was delightful and having worked internationally in the hotel business understands the needs of the customer. All our needs were met including a delicious breakfast. Highly recommend.

The location was amazing! Derrick was a wonderful host. And his granddaughter welcomed us with the most amazing and beautiful cupcakes on arrival. Derrick gave all the best recommendations on what to see, where to eat, and history of the hotel itself.

Very comfortable log cabin slightly separate from the hotel. Large open plan bedroom and living space with simple kitchen area with sink, fridge and microwave. Dog friendly. Really good dinner and great choice of breakfast options in the hotel restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff.

    Great place to stay.

    Great place to stay. The house is very clean and has everything you need from all crockery, cutlery, pans and even a book shelf full of books and a cupboard full of board games! Beds are so comfy and the pillows are hypoallergenic. View of the lake is stunning. Communication beforehand is also excellent. We ate at the smugglers inn and the Sun Inn both lovely 😍 Would definitely recommend
