Hotel in Shepperton
With a beautiful, peaceful location on the banks of the River Thames, this charming hotel faces out onto Church Square in the old historic village of Shepperton. Breakfast was a bit poor- the quality of the bread was not great and juice/milk was warm. Ice would be an awesome addition.

Hotel in Chertsey
With free parking, this hotel in Chertsey has wonderful views of the river and out beyond historic Chertsey Bridge. Staff are helpful and friendly good location for Thorpe park and cafe we like down the road as well as the kingfisher which does amazing food. Car parking is local and free too which is nice
Good facilities and staff; we had a bad experience however due to noise related to other guests in which the staff cannot do much more than warn guests. No security on site. We were not offered another bedroom just for the night. We leave more tired than when we arrived. Our expectations were to have a quiet anniversary weekend which clearly, did not happened.
OK if you happen to like the likes of Slone Rangers that moved out of London and now clog their SUV's / Ferarri's / Rolls Rollers down the High-street kind of thing then no. Had quite a good roast at the Queens Head and the Lebanese restaurant on the corner is quite good too. Valentina is a good Italian with their own home made pasta. Waitrose is pretty well stocked with all kinds of goodies. Good wine dept. Elmbridge council need to take a closer look at the PCN they slapped on my car at Baker Str Car park (the one near Morrisons) I bloody well paid.
Check in and receptionist were great, car park great, location great, lovely and clean, wasn’t happy with my room but once the receptionist changed the room for me, I was perfectly happy. Would stay again
Location was fantastic for Mercedes Benz world. Would love to stay again if we ever get to Brooklands Museum. We ate at the Kingfisher at Chertsey (dog friendly) and had a lovely walk along the Thames before settling down at Weybridge.
My family all live in the area so I’m very familiar with it. It’s a nice suburb with easy access to London and the M25 for country and coastal jaunts. Parking downtown is a challenge but they have some lovely shops. You have to check out The White Shop in Baker Street. Not far from RHS Wisley and Hampton Court. An affluent area overlooked by the average tourist. Train to Waterloo takes 20 mins. Easy access to Wimbledon. If staying at Oatlands Park Hotel use Walton On Thames train station. It’s nearer than Weybridge. The bus goes to Kingston which is a great shopping centre.
