The I office great support, Te Papa, National Library, parliament buildings, the wonderful fashion, bookshops (old and new) waterfront magic!! lots of choices in the restaurants, smells from the food make you hungry. Pubs very grand, like the theatres. Has to be one of the most beautiful, cleanest, safest cities in the world. Everything in close proximity! I was catching up with friends and family so that was my focus on this trip. Wellington does have brilliant cafes, restaurants and attractions such as the Cable Car, Te Papa, Mt Victoria lookout etc. Parking in the city is expensive so look into parking apps as they can save you lots of money. In summer, the beaches and coastal areas are lovely and very accessible. We used Uber for all our inner city trips, it was so easy to get around. The 3 hour bus tour of the city was a highlight, the guide Hamish was excellent. We ate dinner at Grazie Italiano at Double Tree By Hilton, it was superb, food, service, the whole nine yards.
