We come from the west side of the blue mountains traveling to Sydney for short holidays as often as we can as we love the city and all the adventures that go with it . the light rail makes access to all parts of the CBD easy. We were very disappointed with our stay at this property. There was no WiFi at all, despite it being advertised as included. The entire apartment and hallways were extremely dirty and smelled strongly of mould and mildew. There was visible mould on the ceiling and throughout the bathroom. The floors hadn’t been swept, the cupboard under the sink was filthy, and there was old food left in the dishwasher, which made us question the cleanliness of all cups and glasses—so we didn’t use them. The bedding and sheets were questionable in terms of cleanliness. There was no remote for the air conditioner, leaving the apartment uncomfortably cold. The TV didn’t have a signal, and its remote didn’t work either. Overall, the property was unhygienic, uncomfortable, and not as described. I have spent most of my life in Melbourne and have only relatively recently started to get to know Sydney. Apart from the natural beauty of its magnificent harbour, Sydney is full of surprises. There are so many hidden gems around the city and you need to take your time exploring them. They are easy to access by public transport which is not expensive. Surry Hills, for example, is a great area to begin with. If you're into urban landscapes, streetscapes and architecture, it is a great place to start. Further afield, the galleries and museums are world class and they always have something interesting to offer.
