The room was very good but we could have done with a little more cupboard space. The only space to store clothes were the 2 very narrow upright spaces at the back of the bed.

Stayed in the Ali room for first two nights, then extended another two nights in the Star Wars room, all at discounted rates. The detail in both rooms was really extraordinary and a great way to cap off an otherwise more rugged backpacking trip for myself. Also, I was unexpectedly surprised by how good the range of water temperatures in the shower - very relaxing and better than a lot of other places I stayed at. You could spend a long time gazing at the walls of the place, like a museum. Staff (Alice, Lily) were super-helpful and friendly.

Amsterdam hotel is in a perfect location, our room overlooked the pier. Rooms were a nice size and had everything you needed, bedding was clean and towels daily if you wanted. All the staff were very helpful and friendly and check in was very easy. They do warn you about the noise from the bar underneath and give you ear plugs but it wasn’t an issue. Breakfast was very good.

Running along the beachfront is the world’s oldest operating electric train, ending by Brighton Pier. Beach with buzz.
Brighton has the beauty of the beach and the sea, with a lively vibe on top. Fine choice of restaurants and cafés with different cuisines — I tried Mexican and Turkish on this trip but there are loads of others.
Good shopping too — lots of independent shops especially in The Lanes.

Brighton is a strange place.
Brighton is a strange place. There is so much potential but I feel something is or has gone very wrong with this city. Many of the beautiful old buildings are crumbling and in a terrible state of repair and it looks like some are being demolished which is slightly tragic. There is a LOT of homelessness and a lot of people who are clearly addicted to drugs and/or alcohol. There is a general air of shabbiness and an "edge" that I did not like. That said, I ate in some fantastic restaurants and a walk along the sea front at 8am in the morning was lovely.

There are so many places to eat and drink, which have out door eating areas so the atmosphere was lively and seemed happy. Most places seem to be within walking distance. The Brighton Dome and other theatres are within walking distance of the Lanes, we ate at Riddle and Finns and had a fantastic meal. Our meal was amazing and our server 'Sitty (or Ciitty) was brilliant. We loved the fact that everything was so available, we walked everywhere, there is also great shopping from small independent shops to larger retail shops. The area is diverse and welcoming.

I don't think I have any negatives of Brighton.
I don't think I have any negatives of Brighton. I have been there a few times as my son lives there but I am very impressed with how clean and tidy the place is and the amount of shops cafes and bars there are. Everyone seems really friendly a lovely atmosphere. We ate at an Indian restaurant, a local cafe and The Druid Pub all were excellent!

The Royal pavilion was wonderful.
The Royal pavilion was wonderful. We had breakfast at the bandstand and Oeuf, and evening meals at Cote brasserie. All meals were fantastic.
Thought the car park charges extortionate and would make me think twice about visiting again

Fantastic Hotel , very well located , near to the beach/pier and restaurants. Staff are such a great team, lovely bar/restaurant, breakfast had vegetarian choices, oat milk, soy etc, attention to detail was spot on, the Hotel felt so loved and the unique design was brilliant. The rooms were bright and clean , good en suite with a nice shower, I loved the decor of the whole place. If I come back to Brighton I wouldnt want to stay anywhere else.
Fantastic location for the price, right in the centre of Brighton and close to The Lanes. 10 mins walk from the station and everything else on the doorstep. Quiet, central position without being on the noisy front. It's small boutique hotel with friendly staff not like some of the massive hotels on the front with hundreds of rooms. Had the dinner and breakfast package and can't complain.
Super Breakfast! Also tasty gluten free bread available. I loved my cosy quite and little room at the third floor. Excellent area for food and drinks near by. From the hotel you see the pier and you are in 2 minutes at the lovely Brighton pebble beach…I can highly recommend it and like to come back next time.
Location was great, sea-view room was good, loads of space. Helps that the hotel offers parking permits for £8, cheapest parking you'll get in Brighton seafront.
