It’s really just across the train station. The location is in the middle of old town and new town. Super clean. The room is not very large but did not feel cramped.

One of the coolest hotels we've ever stayed in. The room was lovely and big, the staff were amazing and the breakfast was wonderful (lots of calories though 😄). Surprisingly, the hotel itself (rooms & lounge) was very quiet although the restaurant and bar were always hectic with lots of happy people🍺. Great stay overall!

So many amazing things to see on the Royal Mile. I absolutely loved it. We found a nice restuarant on the Royal Mile and had some nice ales and lunch. Dave (my son in law) and I had the haggis. Yummy.

Lots of fun things to see and do and just a nice place to hang out. Loads of lunch spots; we would recommend the Whiskey and Haggis arcade and suggest try the Robert Burns Famous Haggis with whiskey sauce; one portion is enough for 2 people.

    The real St Mary's Close.

The real St Mary's Close. Amazing "Museum" which is actually a series of uncovered streets that were originally built beneath the current road, below the town. When the plague hit, the poor were entombed there. The history of it was mind-boggling. A must to see. The Mile itself just great to walk, stop, sip a drink or two. The Dome restaurant and Bars wonderous at Xmas. Fantastic array of external and internal Christmas lights, trees.

You can find no better location. Grassmarket is the best location of Edinburgh, just next to some great pubs, a few minutes from the royal mile and the castle, and not far from the new town. If you follow the stairs beside the hostel you find the best view of the castle. The kitchen facilities are great, it has everything I needed. Just a few minutes you find a Sainsbury grocery store. The dorm beds have their own individual power sockets and light source.

A very comfortable apartment, with everything you need for a pleasant stay and with very good Wi-Fi. The kitchenette was well equipped, and the vending machines in the lobby provided us with some things we needed despite our late arrival. Excellent location, very good breakfast. Although the hotel is located on the Royal Mile itself, the apartment overlooked a back courtyard and was extremely quiet and peaceful.

I liked the central location of the hotel right in the middle of Old Town Edinburgh and just a minutes walk away from the train station and Royal Mile. The staff were friendly and there were plenty of activities to do in and around the hostel. One thing I wish I knew was that you had to separately purchase basic amenities like a lock, towel, and specific travel adaptor to charge your phone and other devices since they had a block in the wall where you would otherwise charge up. Good hostel for the most part overall.

Very nice apartment with everything we needed in a good area. Easy walking distance to Edinburgh Castle, the Royal Mile, and other attractions. Almost across the road from a very good restaurant (Buck’s Bar). Paid parking available just behind the castle and very close to the flat. We booked a last minute stay and arrived within 20 minutes of booking - everything was ready and perfect. Host was quick to communicate and friendly.

The entire process was easy, I really appreciated the coded doors and not being responsible for keys, and communication with the staff was flawless. The location was absolutely perfect - right across the street from the Waverly station and airport bus stop, as well as a short (but steep, which is all of Edinburgh) climb up to the Royal Mile. The apartment was well stocked, very clean, and I LOVED having free laundry facilities available!

This is a hostel right near the Royal Mile of Edinburgh. It was clean, not rowdy, had a good communal kitchen and common areas. Easy to check in, just remember you will be "renting" towels or bring your own.

A nicely updated townhouse in New Town, Edinburgh, not far from the castle and Royal Mile. The neighborhood is quiet and well connected to buses and trams. Very close to bars restaurants, cafes, and shops. Property was clean and hosts were easy to communicate with. Townhouse includes some lovely period details. Do note that the apartment is two floors up, with no elevator.

This hotel is just a block from the main train station in Edinburgh and also a few minutes from the Royal Mile, super well located, close to restaurants and bars. The hotel has a very good breakfast and the room was well equipped and comfortable. The bar area was very welcoming! A plus: the buses to the airport depart from across the train station, which make it really easy to leave super early in the morning!
