Location! Right on the Arno at Pointe Vecchio. It was perfect for walking anywhere you wanted to go. Close to shopping and dining and multiple attractions. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The hotel itself is clean with multiple sitting rooms with beautiful art and furniture that gave an older itialian feeling. My single room while small had everything I needed and it had A/C! which was so refreshing after the Aug Florence heat. Breakfast was fantastic fruits, juices, meats, cheeses, pastries, yogurt, eggs, bacon and more. The roof top bar was a delite the drinks were delicious and the view was gorgeous. I will stay here again when I visit Florence.

Staff was extremely nice and attentive. They took care of the parking for me which was a big bonus (at a cost of course). The location is smack in the center of everything and the rooms are on the bigger size. Breakfast is somewhat basic but the staff at breakfast is so nice and they have a really good coffee machine.

Ponte Vecchio

Peruse the shops perched above the River Arno on this pedestrian bridge. Dating back to 972, its history is the stuff of storybooks. Ponte Vecchio’s seen it all from noble feuds to ruinous floods. Once a market where vendors sold meat, the smell of raw flesh tossed in the Arno disgusted the Medici dukes. Today’s retailers are much less carnivorous (they’re jewellers).

If you can take the special tour along the secret passage from the Uffizi to the Pitti Palace. The walkway is along the windows atop the Ponte Vecchio. If shopping for gold jewelry etc. along the Ponte Vecchio, be sure to shop around.

Ponte Vecchio is an amazing spot to buy jewelry from jewelers that have been in the business for centuries. The price of gold is standardized so not much point going from each place to ask about the price of gold, instead find a store that specializes in what you're looking for and has the style you like. Some places specialize in gems, others gold, others vintage pieces.

Go really early for great photos without crowds or sunset and night. Bellisimo. Be careful when walking over the bridge in the day as it gets very crowded and artists put their drawings on the ground and if you walk on it, you buy it!

You have to buy something from 18-karat gold here☺️! It’s not cheap but gold is tradition in Florence ( and leather). But be prepared that it’s only not crowded in the morning (when only few shops are open though).

Our hotel was adjacent to this attraction so we had a daily view of it. The photo shown by booking.com does not resemble what it looked like in December. The bridge itself is wall to wall jewellery shops. A good time to visit is before or after they close. The shop fronts change back to the original wooden frontage and makes for a good photo.

Large bedroom, lovely décoration in keeping with the florentine héritage and style.the best place to discover Florence. A few minutes walk from the restaurant Le Volte, the absolute best place to eat in Florence and from Edoardo il Gelato Biologico Gelateria Ponte Vecchio, the best gelato in town.

The location is amazing, right off of Ponte Vecchio. You can walk to all major attractions within 15 mins. Taxis are plenty if you don't want to walk until the train station as well. Apartment is locked and safe, with no safety incidents eventhough we arrived and left the place at all times in the day. The hosts were accommodating for our early arrival. They could be contacted through whatsapp easily.

The location is unbeatable! Just across the Ponte Vecchio in Oltrano, the apartment is just steps from good little bistros, the Palazzo Pitti, and some of the best gelato ever (tucked down a side street around the corner). The property is well appointed, clean, comfortable, and there is a peekaboo view of the Boboli Gardens!

The apartment itself was spacious, well-appointed, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was fantastic, just steps from Ponte Vecchio, yet tucked away in a quiet, peaceful spot. A perfect balance of convenience and tranquility.

The hotel is not huge, but every little detail made it comfortable and enjoyable. The staff were great. We were greeted by Mario that helped us navigate the main attractions and offered some good info on restaurants. Laura was the server for breakfast and she was amazing, always remembered what we wanted before we even asked. The hotel is very well located a block away from Ponte Vecchio and walking distance from main attractions. We loved it.

We had a wonderful stay at Carapelli! The location is fantastic—just a short walk to the Ponte Vecchio, great restaurants, and the Duomo. Perfect for a family of five, the apartment is spacious and spread over two floors, with a cozy attic that our kids absolutely loved. The building has an elevator, which was a big plus. There’s also free laundry available, and the air conditioning in every room kept us comfortable during our stay. Overall, a very comfortable and convenient place to stay in Florence. Highly recommended

We loved this cute apartment on the top floor, especially the rooftop terrace which had an amazing view. It is close to the train station and an easy walk to the Duomo and Ponte Vecchio. We enjoyed dinner at a couple excellent Tuscan restaurants just across the river. Our host was very welcoming, and was flexible when our train was delayed past the usual check in time (we arrived around 8:30 pm).

Staff waited for us and helped us with a personal check in to ensure there were no issues accessing the apartment. The apartment was very clean and neatly organized with all basic amenities provided. The air-conditioning was superb and the washing machine was useful as well (although no dryer made it tricky to dry clothes quickly). The lift was also helpful to carry bags and stroller upstairs. Above all, the location was absolutely fantastic with steps away from Ponte Vecchio and so many local shops next to the apartment. Highly recommend!

location was near Santa Croce. Few minutes walk to everything - Ponte Vecchio, Duomo, etc. Responsive hosts. I used the washing machine as it had a dryer -instructions were not provided in english but once I asked the host, they were able to find them in English to provide them to me. Check in instructions were clear. Elevator to assist with your luggage, although i walked up to my apartment daily but definitely used it for the luggage on check in and check out. Use WhatsApp to communicate with the hosts they are responsive.
