It is a good location, and the metro is very close, Bolt goes often in this area. great staff. the rooms are newly reconstructed and beautiful, with a lot of space, and the kitchen has a fridge, it is spotless everywhere. There are a lot of small stores and restaurants in the area. we already returned from our trip to Porto.

The hotel is located within walking distance from some very important historical landmarks (the Lisbon Cathedral, Saint George's Castle, the National Pantheon, the Rua Augusta Arch, etc.) and quite close to the main Rossio square. You have quite a lot of restaurants nearby, although transportation around Alfama (other than a couple of trams, including the historical 28E, and a bus to the castle) is relatively scarce. However, it wasn't an issue to get around on foot. While the hotel is in a very touristic area, the rooms are very well soundproof and you won't be bothered by the noise on the busy streets around. I'd say the rooms are about the right size (not too big, not too small), really comfortable, squeaky clean and the breakfast at the hotel was very good (quite a lot of options). The welcome gift (custard tarts, Ginja liqueur and a hand painted tile) were a lovely detail. To top it all off, the personnel was incredibly kind and helpful. Every single one of them. I think it is the best hotel I've have stayed in so far! If you are planning to go to Lisbon, you can't go wrong with them.

Everything. Everybody was so polite. It was my husband's birthday and they saw date of birth during check in and they suprise him with nice note, cake and champagne in our room. Every day new bottle of water, coffee and small pralines. They think about every detail. Also location is great, not so crowded street but you can easily walk to many attractions. Metro station is 4 mins walk.

The hotel completely lived up to our expectations: glorious ocean, amazing scenery, polite staff, good food both at breakfast and dinner, cleanliness. The breakfast includes both hot (sauseges, hard-boiled eggs, scrambled eggs) and cold meals. The ocean water pool is really big and impressive, with a lot of free sunloungers and two 3 m. diving board. The coastline is beautiful and worth visiting.

Property was just as described. Getting in was very easy. Host is super responsive and even offered us a late check out because the next guests weren’t scheduled to come until much later that day. There’s a grocery store right around the corner and plenty of cute shops and restaurants just down the street. Really enjoyed the location as well as the property itself!

Great location for both the Beach and the Ferry to Lisbon. Good way for single travellers to meet others in the bar or terrace of the restaurant. I booked one of their cabins which was tiny but big enough to put my bicycle inside. I loved sitting outside under the pine trees and enjoy the nature.

Lisbon is such a beautiful city!

Lisbon is such a beautiful city! There are so many things to see and do. We were only there for 5 days and feel that an extra couple were needed. Fabulous vegan restaurants as well. Cascais was lovely, as was Sintra. A tuk-tuk trip around the city is a must, stopping at the TimeOut Market! We also did a bird watching boat trip to the Tagus Estuary Nature Reserve and saw pink flamingoes, which was pretty exciting for us!

Sintra is a picturesque town in Portugal, nestled in the Sintra Mountains near Lisbon. Known for its romantic 19th-century architecture, lush forests, and misty hills, it's home to stunning landmarks like Pena Palace, Moorish Castle, and Quinta da Regaleira. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Sintra blends natural beauty with rich cultural history. Its major beauty is nature all around. Fabulous

Setubal is absolutely fabulous and I am so glad I decided to extend my trip at the last minute and add Setubal. It has a great vibe. Lovely cobblestone streets and colorful buildings. Shops and restaurants on every street. There's the water and beachfront. There are lots of lovely green spaces, parks and playgrounds and gardens. Sesimbra is a hidden gem on Portugal’s coast -peaceful, charming, and full of natural beauty. The beaches are pristine, with golden sand and crystal-clear water, perfect for swimming or relaxing. The town offers delicious seafood, friendly locals, and a laid-back atmosphere that makes you feel instantly at home. Whether you're hiking in the nearby Arrábida mountains, exploring the historic castle, or enjoying fresh fish by the sea, Sesimbra has something for everyone. Oeiras is a suburb of Lisbon, so not overwhelmed by tourists. We found some great places to eat that were appreciative of our custom. There was a fantastic vegan restaurant just outside the town centre (Alma Veg). The main problem for us was the ddual carriageway that passes right by the beaches.

Estoril is ideal for singles, couples and families who want...

Estoril is ideal for singles, couples and families who want a relaxing break away. There are plenty of hotels, bars, cafes and restaurants but there isn’t a specific area or ‘strip’ of these, they are just dotted around. The casino and its garden are a dominant and attractive focal point so there are a few places near to it. There’s Portuguese food, of course, but also Italian, Chinese, Indian and Japanese. You can get fish and seafood dishes of any sort but there’s also lots of steak on offer. Prices are very reasonable. Some people travel in and out of the town specifically and solely to use the beach by day or the casino by night, some to attend events at the glamorous looking fort on the beach, so the town isn’t dead but it can feel quiet at certain times. It’s definitely a chilled out place to stay in. There are only a few local shops for groceries and not really any souvenir shops. In my opinion, it has more of a local, residential vibe and isn’t touristy. For a change of scene, by train Cascais is just a 5 minute ride away or Lisbon is about 40 minutes away. It’s great to visit either and then escape the crowds by returning to Estoril! There is currently a replacement bus service in operation after 9pm (not sure how easy that is to use) but at other times the trains are very frequent and inexpensive.

Montijo is a hidden gem that beautifully blends traditional charm with modern amenities. Nestled close to Lisbon yet far enough to offer a serene escape, this town captivates with its rich history, friendly locals, and stunning natural landscapes. The quaint streets, vibrant markets, and delicious local cuisine provide an authentic taste of Portuguese culture. Its proximity to the Tagus River offers picturesque views and opportunities for leisurely walks or boat rides. Montijo is also a gateway to beautiful farm stays, where you can experience the peaceful countryside and savor fresh, local produce. The town's relaxed pace and welcoming vibe make it perfect for unwinding, while its convenient location allows easy exploration of nearby attractions. Whether you’re seeking tranquility, cultural immersion, or a base for day trips, Montijo delivers an unforgettable experience. A true Portuguese treasure that leaves you wanting to return!
