- “The modern retro look in room and the amazingly decorated corridors made this place my favorite hotel. I had the luck of getting an airside room and could see nighttime operations on the runways. Certainly a place an AVgeek would love. The small touches like postcards in room and great amenities like shaving razor and cream were much appreciated. The "secret" rooftop terrace where you could sit and watch operations at the airport 24/7 was wonderful. Staff were all lovely - one manager was even greeting people outside and leading them in to the lobby.”

Stefan can give you for very cheap price. The old town, the Big Buddha and many beaches you can ride in 20 minutes. I will go back to Stefan for sure. The best is you can see the sea from your bed. The morning is beautiful. The best place for breakfast is only 50 meters from the house. Many good restaurants are 5 minutes by walk.”

  We had been to Sratford upon Avon many times before but always stayed in hotels..well never again, from the moment we arrived Emma the owner was amazing, even getting into our car to assist us with where to park and then helping us with our bags. Our room, although was not massive, was lovely and had everything we needed, and very comfortable. breakfast was amazing. What made it so good was being made to feel so welcome. I can not recommend The Hathaways enough

  This is a good budget hotel. Never have high expectations of a non-upper end hotel in the UK. :-) This place did fine on that scale. Clean, friendly staff, a little rough around the edges, but nothing problematic. Location just a bit out from center center. And fine price compared with other places for a single night. So all good.

  Location was fantastic, the hotel staff were very pleasant and informative, continental breakfast (which is included in the price) was very good, with lots of choices. Rooms were small but very comfortable.

  The room was lovely and spacious and well furnished and the garden space was lovely for relaxing. The breakfast was excellent.

  The room I originally booked had a bath but we were switched to a room with just a shower which was a shame. There was also no-one around when we checked out and reception was locked so we just had to leave the keys outside the reception door which doesn’t seem very secure.

  Beautiful grounds impressive building and wildlife a bonus food good and comfy beds

  The room was in need of TLC lots of dust and grime under bed top of wardrobe dusty ceiling needed painting bathroom grout needs replacing window sill was dirty plug holes could do with bleach down them all these things can be easily fixed and for the price it should be better. Outside our room the wall was coming away and as my husband is a plasterer he said it could easily fall down in one piece. At dinner we were overcharged for an extra and 10% surcharge worked out at 40% of bill an error that several customers complained about next day at reception so as it was our 18th anniversary it kind of spoiled it but it is a lovely place and we still made the most of it. Just a shame we have had to write this review.
