Very good hotel/ pub restaurant. Bedrooms were tasteful with lovely period features. We ate at the hotel which was very good and the breakfast was as good as it gets. The staff were a delight and all set in a very good location. If working or visiting the area again, it will be the first place I will look to book.

No Wifi in the room I was in which as it was a work trip was annoying but the Wifi worked well in the bar. TV also suffered from signal issues but the pub is in the middle of nowhere.

The paint peeling at the door did take an effect on my shirt when touched (pleased I was not in a suit) lavatory door would not lock effectively, (Sing,) the shower was limited and cold on the Sunday morning and had a hole in it (which was repaired that day TBF) The curtains where thinner than paper the net curtains with a gap at the base so people are able to walk past and look in,
