The flat is at a good location, bus to the centre is a 5 mins walk.The standard of cleanliness was brilliant, thoughtfully equipped with everything you would need,eve n spare toothbrush!Sparkling clean and spacious bathroom,big towels like home, very comfortable beds, and very nice bedding. There were milk and even whiskey in the fridge for us. The host was very helpful,responsive,accommodating and flexible. We will definitely return to discover the lovely town of Oxford more and stay in this lovely apartment. Thanks a lot,Evi and Balazs

The breakfast was lovely, the couple were excellent hosts making us feel at home. It was set in a big country house that had been restored with love. Good internet and free parking. My wife stayed whilst I went to work and they put garden furniture out and offered her tea and coffee. Tea and coffee in the room.

I appreciate that I did not pay for the bigger rooms however we felt that for £135 including breakfast it was a little pricey for a 10 foot room which should we think have been a single. Part of that space was taken up by the toilet and the shower was in the room but in one of the alcoves by the chimney with a flimsy shower curtain. The other side was a small hanging space with 4 mismatched hangers. We were living out of our cases as there was no where to unpack. There was no desk for me to work at although they did offer my wife the use of the desk in the larger room. Generally tidy, just dust in the toilet. Coffee in the room however it was an open pot partly used, would have been better to be closed or small sachets. Had a nice view of the garden but couldn't see it from the bed as it was covered by the toilet wall.

Although it is advertised as a private bathroom it is in a communal area. There is nothing stopping others from using it and it is necessary to go out of the private room to have a shower or use the toilet. Communication could be better.

The room was covered in dust and full of little flies. An alarm went off at 7am Saturday morning and again at 9.30pm on the evening. We were warned about loud music but nothing was mentioned about a 15 minute firework display that took place on Saturday night. The reception staff were very rarely at the desk, always in a back room too interested in their food to answer our questions.

The property air conditioning was set to heat at the request of other customers however it meant that we could not cool our room making it uncomfortable. Staff were not too helpful unfortunately. We also felt our room was not completely clean (some stains and hairs etc) on arrival so we requested a change which they complied with and the second room was much better.

Room was tired looking and old. Floorboards were creaking and the air conditioning was so noisy you had to turn it off.
