A wonderful relaxing stay, Tina & Amanda offer a standard of service that is often not seen in this type of establishment these days. We did not use our car at all during the time we stayed, lots to do and see in the area, we shall be back should we visit Swanage again, and as for Breakfast, it was exceptional, cannot recommend Swanage Haven highly enough!

Everything perfect really not sure if there was a shower fan in our ensuite which caused to room to mist up even with the window open. However, this did not affect the use of these facilities.

Really friendly and helpful staff. Stunning building. Our room was nice. Lovely big bath and a powerful shower over it. Great breakfast the following morning with good quality products and plenty to choose from. Good location for the bay and train into Cardiff Queen Street.

Needs a lot of attention to detail really going forward regarding general maintenance and cleaning. Lots of chipped doors which is a bit off-putting. The stairs looked like they hadn't been brushed for a while. Our room could of been cleaner. Marks on bathroom door and carpet. Also the ceiling had like splash marks. How they got up there....who knows. Good luck.

Lovely olde world hotel, with parking. Good location for getting around the Cotswolds.

Sadly there were no restaurant facilities other than an excellent breakfast. We didn't realise that when we booked. We had to go to other inns etc locally for our evening meal.

I orefer a buffet type of selection where i can choose my own combinations eg, I would have liked a simple fruit salad with yogurt but that wasn't on offer. Don't like mugs without saucers. Just makes drips on the table if you use a teaspoon (but i didn't have one...borrowed husband's) Apple juice tasted diluted. Toast was very pale, limp and tough. We had to ask for butter. No side plate for toast. Not good trying to spread butter and jam on a plate already used for bacon and egg. My husband asked for his egg to he turned but it wasn't. It was brought back in a similar unturned state...perhaps the staff didn't understand this request. Some fellow diners had ages to wait for omelette. I can honestly say I enjoyed my recent breakfast at the Earls Court Premier Inn (cost £12.99) much more than this one.
