Walkable to the Swiss Cottage tube stop, Regent's Park, and St. John's Wood, this hotel offers great accommodations for a family in a central, working/livable neighborhood in London. Stroll around stately homes, jump in a taxi to a train station, or use public transport to be anywhere you need to be in London from this convenient spot. The restaurant is lovely, and the indoor pool a great spot to unwind after long distance travel.

Great location as we were at the mountain bike championship at Ben Nevis and we only had to walk a few minutes to get the bus. The staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for you. Food and service in the restaurant was exceptional and ra like clockwork

We struggled to get the shower to work but managed to fix the bath eventually. We didn't report the issue as we were only staying one night. The hotel therefore were not given the chance to put it right so not complaining.

The key to our room did not work despite attempts by the staff to make it work. We were in what seemed like the older part of the building and it seemed the electrics and key operation needed upgrading. The instructions as to the heating arrangements was very confusing. Guests should be warned if travelling from south on A!. You have to turn across the dual carriage way with is very busy - very tricky.

There were no sheer curtains on an extremely large window. We were at the back of hotel and looked directly into flats opposite so had to draw curtains or creep around on hands and knees when getting dressed. No fridge. You are given fresh milk to go in tea and coffee which is a nice touch but it is left out on coffee station as there is no fridge Noisy road. Brekfast not included. Double room without brekfast £245. Not value for money but this part of Scotland generally felt expensive. effect of tourism

Very friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable beds and good location.

The bathroom needs a renovation: the shower didn't work properly, and the silicone was getting dark from the mold, and the shower frame was moving.

VERY POOR ALL ROUND Reception had fresh water facilities unfortunately, All drinking glasses were used and dirty. About 50 of them scattered all over the table. Given wrong room. A double instead of a twin although we had booked a twin and it was on my booking confirmation. The receptionist repeatedly blamed me for the error until I showed her the details. Very rude. Eventually we were given a new room. No bath towels. Had to ask staff 4 times before we had some. Had no towels for a shower first night. Had to ask again in morning so I could take a shower Twin beds on top of each other. No gap between beds. Room too small for a twin. Breakfast was £16 each. Very little choice. Had to wait 25 mins for bacon which was too greasy. Coffee machine covered me in boiling steam and froth. Everyone jumped back in horror. Bad accident waiting to happen. Spa facilities were incredibly dirty. Refused to use the shower facilities. . The shower heads were covered in a brown slime. Disgusting. Some kind of railed off pit by the side of hot tub. Was black with dirt and had some kind of fungus/ mould growing from it. We only spent 10 mins in pool area. Another couple commented that they were afraid they would catch something horrid and also left after a few minutes. Some areas were clean others were fthy. Went to restaurant to order a meal. Was told that I could only order cold food. No hot food available, even though the menus said that they did both hot and cold food Only one lift was working. You could not take the stairs as the ground floor was not accessible. Everytime we got into lift. We had to squeeze in with contractors taking ladders and pots of paint up to other floors. Or cleaning staff taking piles of dirty laundry everywhere. Just not good enough.
