I liked the breakfast, especially that juice and fruit/berries was very generous and the overnight oats was also lovely. The chicken pie for dinner was fantastic! I also appreciated the coffe machine a lot, being a Swede and everything :-). I also loved that everthing was so clean and fresh and cosy, I felt really looked after. All members of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The view was amazing. Lovely that dogs were allowed in the bar. Everything went smoothly with the wifi, so I was able to work without problems. I really appreciated the location, close to the university and the hill with the Wallace monument, queit and peaceful, still easy to get to Stirling. I hope I come back one day!

First of all, all the staff from reception to housekeeping to the Vault bar are helpful and friendly, exactly what hospital really means. The Resolution Hotel is ideally placed in the old town, near the harbour and in the midst of interesting shops. There is a pay & display car park close by with reasonable 24 hour rates. The Vault bar and restaurant is excellent, both for a drink and for breakfast and dinner.

Nice large en-suite room which was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfy and we had views of Ben Nevis from the window. Our host was very friendly and helpful and printed out a bus timetable for us to use to get into the main town - bus stop very convenient just a few yards.from the Guest House.

Breakfast bag provided which meant you weren't confined to a set time to eat which meant we could be out nice and early but wasn't what we'd have chosen.

Location was beautiful, the room was clean and had all the amenities you would need. Everything was great. Staff were so lovely and friendly. Food was brilliant, really enjoyed our meal and the breakfast was lovely a fab selection.

Heating was full on when we arrived - room was stifflingly hot Also same in bathroom Both above must be resulting in a waste of costly energy. This could be handled much better Most disappointing the bedside lighting. No good for reading through the night, which we both require to do.
