Positive section of review
The Old Village Hall has been sensitively converted to offer a high standard of accommodation. The living area is extremely spacious while three genuinely double bedrooms and three large bathrooms mean everyone can be comfortable. The 'master bedroom' with en-suite is especially remarkable for size and fittings. Kitchen facilities are excellent with a Bosch oven and hob and ample fridge/freezer storage. The property was spotlessly clean throughout. Situated up a quiet cul-de-sac just off the main road the property is peaceful whilst offering easy access to Kelso and other towns in the Scottish Borders. The Host lives locally, was easy to contact via Booking.com and very helpful if a question arose about something.

Loved the room from the way it was decorated to the comfort of the bed. The bathroom and room in general was a decent size and didn't feel cramped at all. Very much enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay again.

Very good location, you can easily walk to the city center and take the bus to visit in close proximity most of the neighborhoods that you cannot reach on foot fast

Very small room, there is not enough space for two people. We could not fit easily our two suitcases. Also the bathroom has glass walls and its door is 50cm away from the bed. The bathroom is so small that we could not easily close the door as we could not fit easily inside. It was not insulated and if someone wanted to have his own “private” time for his needs the other one had to leave the room to give some confer otherwise the person outside the bathroom was 50cm away from the guy that was inside the bathroom. Overall the room space is not enough for two people. Those are 1-person rooms for sure
