Location was great, central....easy parking at the hotel. Staff were wonderful.

There was a small fire, and we were evacuated....my 9 year old daughter was very emotional and did not want to go back in once it was all clear. People who were also standing with us at the evacuation fire point were taking photos/videos with my daughter in a very emotional state. The fire could not be helped, obviously. 6 fire engines, 3 fire cars, and a daughter who suffers from anxiety....it was a struggle for her to feel safe again....we had only just booked in and got to our room when the fire alarm went off. The curtain above the sofa bed was broken so was lopsided and my children thought it was going to fall so ended up in bed with me which was a squash! The toilet wasn't working....I called twice and staff came up both times....very helpful....the second time offered to move rooms but my 4 and 9 year old daughters were fast asleep as it was 11pm so I declined....but it never stayed fixed so we kept using a friends who was in another room.

First the TV wouldn't load then once reported it kept turning it's self off every 5 minutes. Dogs barking most of the night next door. Cost of food with the minute portions. Adding service charge to everything - this should be a choice dependent on the service provide NOT a standard part of the bill

I couldn't sleep properly as the pillow was too smelly. I didn't expect the hotel had no reception and the staff member I met wasn't as expected.

The room was poor for the price. We didn't have a balcony and found out we had paid the same price as people who did. The staff in the restaurant were poor. There was about 5 new people training and one trainer. Someone said there was no salt when I could see there was some on the next table. They left their pen on our table and said there wasn't any forks.
