This was our 2nd time staying at the Gumfreston guest house and it was simply perfect again. Julie and Sam are wonderful hosts who are both hard-working and very friendly. The guest house is located in a quiet location, only a 2 minute walk to the seafront. The breakfast is superb and the rooms are kept to a very high standard. This is our 'go-to' place when we visit Tenby. Well done Julie and Sam, keep up the great work.

The Cottage was clean modern and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The hosts were extremely welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be booking again.

There really were no negatives regarding our stay at Kilchrist Cottages.

Liked the history of the building-as a nurse myself the building was an old nurse's home-did not know this prior to stay. Great central location for booked activities.

staff out of hours couldn't resolve refund issue during stay, despite bar staff's error to charge double for unwanted drink that was not ordered. This is poor customer service if staff are not trained to deal with simple services. No manager on duty out of hours means guests are left with incompetent staff providing poor experience.

•The staff went out of their way to do everything they could for you. Very professional and polite at all times. • bed was very comfortable

• the cost of the drinks. We had 2 sandwiches and 2 drinks off the bar menu and the cost was £45.90. The sandwiches were £12 each which was ok leaving £21.90 for 2 drinks which I think was very expensive. • we have stayed in 3 other McDonald hotels and resorts and was disappointed with this one. • expected more grounds to walk around in from pictures, hotel is surrounded by new housing estate and further building. . Decor needs updating.

The staff were lovely and having left something in the room have been so helpful. Restaurant was great too. Very good value for money.

The room was clean and stylish. The full buffet breakfast was amazing and free.

The room was too small for 3 adults (double + sofa). The sofa was quite uncomfortable. Reception requested my passport details which I wasn't happy to give. Too far from Cambridge.

The stairs to our attic room were steep with a low ceiling. The beams were very low in our room causing us to bend low and mind our heads. We are both over 70!
