Fantastic location , manager was absolute gentleman as he upgraded our room and supplied a free meal for me and my girlfriend also a bottle of bubbly , we were more than happy with original room as we've stayed here half a dozen times , hotel is currently under renovation and we had a small piece of taurpoling in our garden , I joked with him about it , and hence the upgrades , food is unbelievable value for money and I've been in more expensive restaurant that have charged treble for a 3 course meal , the bar area is stunning and perfect for a quiet drink while relaxing on the chesterfields , just brilliant stay , right on beach , I can't recommend it enough , I'll probably spell salvors name wrong , but 10 out of 10 thank you , well be back

The chalet was very nice, modern, clean and well equipped. There was a parking space behind and the views were amazing. The TV was a good size and the kitchen was well equipped. The bar area was good and the food was ok. There is a pool but we didn't use it.

There is practically no phone signal on the lower part of the site and the free WiFi was very poor. The bar is a little pricey but well stocked. The room was heated with a night storage heater which was on when we arrived and the room was boiling, we turned it off but the next evening when it started to get cold we turned it back on but it took a very long time to warm the room.

Lovely place to stay well set out ,enjoyed sitting out in the garden with the sun out . Close to the top of steep hill and not to far for the town centre ,pubs and restaurants close plus a supermarket ten minutes away .like to thank Rachel for her help ,

Nice hotel in centre of Moffat. Our room was warm and comfortable and bathroom was fine. We ate dinner in the restaurant and it was excellent and good value, breakfast was also good. Good safe off street parking. We would definitely return.

We really enjoyed our stay - the staff were exceptional, the setting and decor beautiful and the food (breakfast and dinner) delicious. Well situated with lots of local activities/places to see and enjoy.
