Location was great, even if the hotel is at the top of a steep hill! Staff were really friendly and nothing was too much trouble, room was spacious and incredibly comfy with spectacular views.

Booking breakfast and the pool wasn't great, we would have preferred going down to breakfast when we were ready, not at a specific time. I understand the booking of the pool, however, it was quite cold and we only really ended up using the sauna.

Location is very close to the city center and Avon River. Easy walking distance to the Cathedral. About a 20 minute walk from the airport. Rooms were very clean.

Nice apartment with a good location. Close to the bus station. The kitchen has everything you need if you want to cook something. Pretty good for the price.

We stayed upstairs, on the last floor, and the wifi was pretty slow, as the router is on the first floor. We didn't have a plug adapter, so the single option to charge the phone was a 2V usb port. And the cleanliness of the kitchen could be better.

This is the second time I stayed, I expected my room to be larger - like on my first visit - I thought I'd booked the same room?? Also, my room smelled of fresh paint. Not a massive problem, but I prefer 'no smell'!

Nothing good to report. The poor attitude of staff, the violation of privacy by hotel staff leaving me feeling vulnerable as a woman staying there on my own. The maintenance work carried out outside my window until gone midnight despite complaining. I fed back when I checked out and got no apology, and have emailed them to follow up before leaving a bad review and had no acknowledgement. Terrible hotel and will be actively telling guests I have coming to my wedding in a few weeks to cancel reservations
