It was such a fantastic hotel. On top of the water, there is no need to go so far an excotic places. Amazing view from the room, so quite and tranquilizer which all we need. Very good restaurant. Wonderful and helpful staff. Many thanks to Mike. I would definitely like to come back if I can in the future.

They didn't clean the room on the second day. But it wasn't that much matter to me. We didn't need to ask.

Extremely good value for Henley, quirky and compact accommodation, if you have experience of caravan stays, this should give you no problems for a stay of a couple of nights. Everything was clean and prepared for our arrival, with good communication.

The room was a decent size for 2 people. Parking on site was good. The food from the restaurant was lovely and service there was excellent. Breakfast was cooked well and staff were friendly. A nice touch to have gluten free cereal available too.

It was a little disappointing to only get 5 cooked items included in breakfast, unless we wanted to pay extra for more items. (Although continental was available) However, cooked items were lovely.

There was nothing that I particularily liked, the room was adequate, reasonably clean and bright with unmarked white painted walls. I was able to sleep relatively well.

The bathroom was a shower room with a high step not obvious. The shower had black mould in the joints and the shower mat was filthy. I was locked out of the hotel, I returned at 9.45 p.m. aafter a visit to Pickering only to find that the downstairs was dark and empty, the door was locked and I didn't have a key. I had to take a taxi to a nearby Premier Inn, only to find that it was full. The staff at the Premier Inn were wonderful. After two hours of internet searching they managed to find the current owner who agreed to leave the door open for me. One of the night staff used her own car to take me there. In the morning I went down for breakfast, at 9.00 a.m. only to be told I was too late. However, one of the staff members did me a breakfast, having told me that the reception staff should have advised me of the hours. I got an apology for being given the wrong keys, apparently I had the cleaner's key not a guest set. I was not offered a discount or a refund for the expenses I incurred.

Our room was lovely. Compact but ok. Staff were delightful and very helpful. Beer is such a surprise with the wide pebble beach at the end of narrow laneways.

Room was a bit warm and I could not open the window enough. I didn't realise the pub was shut until the day (Monday) so no food available and nothing local. No hair dryer.

After booking the apartment where it says parking on site. The owner is pestering for a parking permit of £40 for the week. We have already paid as per the advert. I do get everyone needs to make money, however this should have been highlighted on booking and included in the cost. Not turn up after paying then people knocking on the door at 10:30 at night. Very disappointing and has made it a very bad experience to deal with.
