If you are staying on Golebia street you check in at the main reception and from there it is a 5 minute walk thru the square to the accommodation. This is the 2nd time we have stayed there and I would highly recommend it . You do need to go up a flight of stone stairs so if you have mobility issues then this is not for you .”

- “I had a wonderfull small holiday at Mandarin. It was a first experience for us at this hotel group and for sure we will try the Mandarin in other cities from now on. We had a deluxe premier room and it was very spacious, very clean, large bathroom. I appreciated the treats we received when we entered the room (fruits and candies), a personalized hand-written note, the butler’s 24h service, the sound system, the beach/pool bag… We asked for a specific higher-floor room with view towards the Icon Siam Mall and we received just that! It felt that we were trully taken care of! The pool was a good retreat after visiting the city with a perfect blend of private and nature. The ice-cream “on the house” offered at noon was a cool bonus. We could use the facilities and pool untill afternoon when we left for the airport and it was a great rest before the flight. We rented a car with deuver for Ayutthaya and it was great. The driver Kid always offered us cooling cold napkins with great smell when we finished visiting temples. He was a good guide and we had the most one could do in this 7 hour tour. Breakfast is delicious and with a variety of foods. Omlette was delicious! The boat to cross to the mall is a big plus! … and it is very nice to just take a ride. Loved everything!”

The accommodation excellent great mattress and blackout curtains aided a restful sleep.The breakfast choice was great and served promptly.Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.many thanks to those who made it a pleasurable stay.

  It was so close to everything in Inverness. Loved the area, the pubs, the atmosphere.....There was no breakfast with our room but all facilities were there and we made our own toast etc which was great. And directly across from Leakey's Bookstore which was a winner with this book lover.

  One tiny little thing. The pub on the corner played loud music till late and is almost next door but we slept anyway.

  The welcome was lovely, room very nice . Excellent fresh linen and decoration. Very quiet too. Really great location for city airport and close to DLR. Excellent quiz night and nice locals. Beer good too. Nice fish and chips

  Sadly lots of things. The smell from kitchens bad cooking oil travelled up to the rooms. The staff need some training. The young lady in the morning was not welcoming at all. We turned up at 8 for breakfast as that's the time they said they started. Only to be told she had to open up first, the kitchens hadn't warmed up yet. We had included breakfast in our booking. To be told rudely it's only one item included not even drinks . We had to buy our tea and coffee. Never ever have experienced bed and breakfast that doesn't include a cup of tea! We stated we had a flight to catch. To be told "that's not her problem" . I was so very disappointed. As I chose a pub rather than a hotel chain to support the local economy. And it's an excellent location for the airport. We remained very polite with her, but we had to leave without eating our food fully due to it being late. The staff need training in hospitality service. To survive in the competitive market your staff need to shine. As this costs nothing.

  Good location for what we needed. Prompt reply from host when required. Nice play set in garden for children.

  Somers lodge was nice but needs more clothes storage like a wardrobe and draws , also checking enough utensils ect for amount of people staying . There was only a three seater couch and two hard chairs in lounge room which made it quite awkward for comfortable seating . There was also a few items not working like heated towel rail, fire , 2nd oven . Some nice new towels would be good as they were a bit old and not very thick. I think a lick of paint would make it a bit more refreshed. I feel it was a bit over priced for what it was.
