Very friendly welcome upon arrival. Great location for the town, pubs, and restaurants. Room 2 was nice and quiet and had plenty of plug sockets for charging phones, etc. The bed was very comfortable. We liked the quirky wallpapers throughout the property. The bar area had a good atmosphere with a lovely courtyard, which we would have used had the weather been better. Breakfast was well cooked. We liked the fact that the tables were well spaced. We were lucky and got a parking space right outside the hotel. We like walking, and the hotel is literally on the coast path. We walked to Whitstable from the door. Faversham itself has lots of historical buildings, and we feel it is well worth a visit. If we return, we will definitely stay at the Quay Hotel.

There was nothing really that we didn't like. It would have been nice to have coat hooks in the room hallway. A vegan cooked option at breakfast, but I bet the chef would have accommodated us if we had asked. The outlook from inside the bar area out is a bit run down, with what looks like a disused commercial building opposite, but there is not much that the hotel can do about that.

Comfortable bed and pillows! Amazing farm views. Friendly staff. Continental breakfast was plentiful and varied. Easy access and lots of carparks. Excellent WiFi.

If you are a light sleeper, the A5 will not be your friend. But it didn't worry my husband at all and not me after the first night (a busy Saturday night).

Though the place is a little run down, it was clean and the bed was comfortable.

It was on top of the highest point so for those not keen to walk or do stairs it would be difficult to walk to town.

We arrived a little early but was unable to check in earlier unless we paid £10, despite room being ready. Thought this was unnecessary
