Location just a few minutes walk from the beach and coastal path. Comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchen. Cosy sitting room. Nice garden to sit in. Great communication from the owner and getting access to the property was an easy process. A gift of Prosecco and nibbles was a really nice surprise on arrival. Lots of free available parking outside the cottage

Not too much negative about our stay - however I will mention the following: The house is full of the owners personal belongings. I might expect this from an air b&b but not something I book on Booking.com. The house is very cluttered. It looked like they had just gone out for a couple of days and left everything as it was. Not a massive problem but I did feel like I was intruding on someone 's property. I felt like I shouldn't have been there .The garden furniture could have done with being cleaned before our arrival. The weather was nice so we did use the garden but could not sit on some of the chairs which were covered in bird poo . Fortunately there were enough good ones for us to use but they could all have benefitted from a wipe down. Cobwebs and spiders in the kitchen were also not great.

Superbly located in a rural Oxford a quiet, tranquil B&B of the highest standard. A very welcoming Caroline made us feel totally at home and a superb, leisurely breakfast next morning saw us on our way totally replete.

A quirky property that has been updated since its construction in the mid 1700's(!) lacks a shower cubicle but this is a small niggle in an otherwise top-notch establishment.

The hotel location was very central. Whether you wanted to go to the tourist attractions, visit the theatre or do some shopping it was all within walking distance.

Lovely room with hair dryer, straightener, fridge and a kettle. A rather big bathroom with a great shower.

The towels in the room were dirty but 'masked' as clean ones as they were folded on the shelf as clean towels. One of the hand towels had brownish stains and it was damp, another two big towels were wet. This disappointed me since I booked one night at what I thought was a nice, rather pricey hotel so I was not expecting basic cleaning issues...

The only thing was that the bed was extremely uncomfortable. Offering no support to my back I woke with the worst low back pain in a long time which persisted a few days. Maybe upgrade the spring base or mattress? A shame to have to leave this review as it was my one and only gripe, but bed comfort is a biggie!
