  It was in a very attractive area and on a route which made it easy for us to get around Dorset and into Devon and Somerset. The staff were welcoming, engaging and helpful.

  We would have liked an all in bed and breakfast price as we stayed there almost a week but I understand why they charge on a daily basis with variable prices for the large choice of breakfast available.

  The hotel is in a nice heritage building that has a lot of character. I was upgraded to a better room which was very comfortable.

  The wifi only worked intermittently in my room. A black sack of rubbish was left on a back staircase for a day.

  Walking distance to the airport which was helpful for an early morning flight.

  Stained bedsheet and took forever for someone to bring a new sheet. Went to the front desk and they were more concerned with checking people in than caring about the fact that a guest had a stained bedsheet. We had an early flight so really needed the sleep. Had to clean the toilet before using it. Restaurant food was sub par, but I guess what can you expect?
