Got there very late, but the first member of staff I found dropped what she was doing and checked me in. All the staff I encountered at the Woburn are friendly, cheerful and efficient. Breakfast was included in the price and was cooked to a turn. Poached eggs were perfect and I would never have put sliced chilis with eggs and avocado but it works beautifully.

Great location, only a short walk to the promenade and beach and just a stone's throw from the Great Orme Tramway. Room was clean and tidy and the breakfast was delicious.

The breakfast was lovely and the location was good to get to Cambridge. My room was quiet which was important to me .The sheets and towels were clean and the shower was good .

The room wasn't very clean . Lots of dust behind the TV set and the carpet was really dirty and sticky which meant we didn't like not having our shoes on .Not been cleaned for months .The beds were too hard for us but saying that I think bed comfort is an individual thing and hard beds might be ideal for others

Clean comfortable room, I would suggest they repair the window lock in the bathroom so you can close the window, we had to jam it with a toilet roll tube.

Information on parking. When I booked, I booked on the understanding the carpark was 5minutes away and £13 per night. That information has now disappeared after my complaint as the car park owners advised it was now £20 per night and had not been £13 per night for 5+ years

No Wi-Fi in the rooms? Seriously? It's 2024! I have been following the comments from other guests, and the management/owners have been promising to install Wi-Fi in the rooms since 2017. Still no WiFi - only in the common area in the lobby. Very poor. Also, not even a glass in my room. I had to rinse my mouth with the mug from the coffee set. Room was tiny. Single bed. Shower was clean but there was no rhyme or reason as to how to control the shower - I just kept turning the knobs until I got the right temperature for 30 seconds, before it got too hot or too cold again. My room was very run down. It's fine for a drink in the bar, or perhaps to eat there (although last orders are at 7:30pm!) but I was VERY disappointed with my stay there. Rooms need attention and overall, it just feels run down; dated.

Paintwork a little tired. Waited quite a long time to check-in as staff were busy behind the bar. Staff member didn’t know what a wake up call was nor if hotel offered this service. Hotel did not notify us of the major road closure and works outside of hotel between 8pm - 8am, requiring a big detour.

Location was excellent

When we arrived there was building work underway that put the entrance out of action for half our stay. We had to use a small side entrance through an alley. The main issue was the air conditioning. Even when off in our room, the hotel system “hummed” all night. It made sleep impossible. The hotel staff said they could move us, but it wouldn’t solve the noise. For a 2 night stay @ £257 per night, we left knackered with no sleep.
