overnight stay whilst walking the Cowal and Loch Lomond Way. Check in staff were friendly and professional. Room was large, spotlessly clean, had a comfortable bed, free bottled water, a selection of hot drinks and biscuits. My visit coincided with a mini heatwave and the staff had thoughtfully opened windows and put a cooler in the room to lower the temp. Restaurant/bar was excellent with the window seats offering panoramic views over the Loch. Food was superb and large portions at a very reasonable price. The hotel is part of a very large holiday complex, offering chalet and caravan accommodation. There is a host of activities offered on site but after a long day walking in the heat and another tough day ahead of me I limited myself to the bar and restaurant. Will definitely go back for a longer stay in the future.

Wow ! What an incredible find. Arrived for our one night stay. What we found was a beautiful home. Our suite was stunning. Large, colourful and tastfully decorated. Very new and clean. The owners were lovely and made us both very welcome. A new business but I think they are going to be very busy. The location is also great as we walked the 10 minutes into town for a lovely pub meal & pint. A perfect 'in the room' breakfast was enjoyed the next day. Our room was so beautiful that we didn't want to check out ! As for the views, just full of the mountains. So picturesque. But the jets in nearby Mach Loop (10 mins drive away) were calling out for us to go and watch. We will def. Be back. Thankyou so much 👌

The staff were excellent and friendly, the food was fantastic at reasonable prices, and the rooms and public spaces were immaculate and well-maintained the two staff that we dealt with mainly on both days and nights were Joe and Simon there were also another gentlemen we saw in the morning with a beard but never got his name sorry. On our second day, the hotel called me on our way home to tell me that I had left my wallet there so we turned around to fetch it again I never got the chap's name but I thank him from the bottom of my heart the next time we stay I will thank him personally
