  I stayed at this hotel in Honiton with a couple of friends who had visited it in the past and recommended it to me. The reception and bar staff were very welcoming and helpful, especially when I encountered a problem with the TV in my room, which was fixed quickly and efficiently. We all liked the fact that the hotel offers guests the option of an evening supper menu, which was very good value and enjoyable after days out exploring the area. The guest rooms are very attractive, spacious and clean including a very good shower room. The large carpark was also a bonus. All in all we would highly recommend this hotel at Honiton.

  An improvement in the dining area would be more comfortable chairs with cushioned seating so guests can linger longer and enjoy the relaxed vibe of this very pleasant hotel.

  Beautiful house tastefully restored. Room was elegant and luxurious. Gardens lovely. Nice welcome when we arrived and friendly lady served us a coffee after we came back after our evening walk to explore surrounding area.

  Pathway to back gate entrance was steep and gravel based. Steps steep with no hand rail. Having to choose breakfast night before. Came down for breakfast and saw no one for 20 minutes and then she complained she was on her own. Saw no one when we left to say goodbye and check out ??
