The apartment was very convenient to all locations, was clean, and had pretty good information ready for us. The elevator was fantstic. The owners provided soap for us to use for the washing machine which was so thoughtful.

The doors are terribly heavy and would not stay open. We were to use these old rubber stops which hardly worked.

The room was good and the staff was also helpful. The most important hotel was at a very accessible location in the city.

I was not satisfied with the services as we booked the hotel because it had a swimming pool, but when we reached there the pool was under construction. This was not informed to us, if I knew I would have not booked this hotel and booked a cheaper one without a pool. There was no fridge in the room, which was so bad there is always a mini fridge in hotel rooms even if it is a 3-star hotel and this was Marriot's really poor condition was not expecting this.

Property not as advertised. A ramshackle, rustic, worn and tired country pub Room not as advertised online - disgusting - carpets dirty and stained, wallpaper dirty and peeling, tiles in bathroom poorly sealed, bed firm and ridged and unable to sleep through the night, Cobwebs on lightshade and dust on table and not cleaned off next day when room supposedly cleaned! All in all a terrible experience and moved to another Butcombe inn for my third night for a decent sleep. Definitely not recommended
