The property was in an excellent location and had lovely views of the river from every window. There was everything you’d need to cater for yourself, and if you wanted, you could popover to the adjacent hotel for a drink or something to eat.

The bedroom was down a very steep flight of stairs, so if using the bathroom during the night it could be quite problematic, especially for the elderly. The bedroom itself was massive and there is enough space to include a small en-suite bathroom there, even if the price had to be increased a little.

It's a shame so many hotels don't have fridges in now. The compromise to have a small hanging space instead of a wardrobe was fine, but it leaves only one side of the bed with a bedside table.

Very early closing in the pub. Was planning to eat there about 7....food stopped at 5_45. Went for fish n chips, began to eat outside and the manager very rudely told us off.
