Great set up, in a good location. The cottage is very quiet, really well equipped, cute and comfortable. Perfect for two. Fab location for cycling (road and off-road) as well as walking. If the opportunity presents itself to be in the area again would definitely book Juniper Cottage.

I liked the room, it was clean, cosy and modern. The staff were happy to help when I needed it. I liked that the shampoo and condotioner were eco friendly/ recyclable/ vegan.

Need a mini fridge in the room - how do people refridgerate their medication? I have IBS and use a supplimemt juice drink and yoghurts that need to be kept in a fridge. Not so bad for me to go a week without it, but other people have illnesses (such as diabetes) that rely on keeping it in the fridge. Also, it was a really warm week and my bottles of water and coke kept going warm due to lack of fridge. A lot of early, loud building work waking me up. Although I do understand that is outside of the hotels control.

The location was perfect, very close to both major parks and very close to parade street, furthermore the room was recently renovated and it had new appliances.

Under the hotel there is a bar so every night was a bit noisy but in on Friday it was terrible. The windows weren't soundproof so there was very difficult to sleep before 01:00 local time. Last but not least the room does not provide air condition meaning that during hot days was a bit warmer that it would be comfortable.

Friendly, welcoming & courteous staff. The building & facilities were fine. Room was in need of a little updating but was of a good standard.

There was a strange character - member of staff? Who on several occasions was in & out of a small office by the bar. Pacing the floor and talking loudly on a mobile phone about fraud & police involvement. Disconcerting & annoying at the same time.

Everything was lovely and very restful. The decor was not only tasteful but looked very fresh and it was all thoughtfully thought through.

I think that my only criticism was with the menu for the evening meal. I do strongly object for paying extra for a vegetable and for potatoes of one sort or another. I think it is very outdated and anyway how much does a piece of cauliflower cost or a few chips? I think it was a big mistake ..otherwise it was a lovely meal.

When you turn up to check in and they want an additional £12 to park for the night, a bit naughty of them I think. Anyone wishing to stay here then you can park outside on the residential street in parking bays as long as you move the car before 8 am.
