A very comfortable and well presented little cottage in a nice little village. Has a nice little courtyard for sitting out with a G&T. Well stocked village shop. Kitchen was a little bit chilly first thing...a small infrared radiator ( on a timer) mounted on the wall would have taken the chill off the room, but it wasnt really too bad as the weather was reasonably warm. Would highly recommend.

I did not have the breakfast in the end as not hungry. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The shower was huge as was the bed which was nice.

The price of 1 pint of beer was excessive - £6.50 was a lot to pay. The pot holes on the way down to the hotel were not good.

Very close to the waterfalls and the onside restaurant was very good for dinner and the breakfast the next morning.

We stayed in a separate building to the main hotel, this had to guest rooms in the building separated by a corridor. The radiator in the corridor banged every 20mins as it was trying to get to temp, it sounding like someone tapping a hammer against the bedroom wall so we had to go and turn it off. The walls and the door were so thin that we could hear the people staying in the other room across the hall snoring, and talking, and the water tank for our room and the other guests room was either in the ceiling of our room or really close as every time it filled up the sound reverberated around the room. I used to be along distance lorry driver and have slept at the side of motor ways more times then I can count. So I would say I'm a pritty heavy sleeper. But at one point my wife had to stop me from grabbing some blankets and sleeping in the car. The next day at breakfast I wanted to raise these issues but all there was, was a cleaner and a waitress. No manager, not even when we handed the key back at 9.30.

Only quibble was noise from street in early hours (3am) of people coming back from a club but it's a city centre location so to be expected to a point
