The location for us was fantastic, the O2 Academy was around a 15 minute walk and so easy to locate. The shops and restaurants were all of a good location too and everything was within walking distance, we didn't need to use any public transport during our stay. The Q-Park was closer than imagined too but please note you need to book online for the carpark and all you need to do is drive in and drive out as it recognises your registration plate, so simple. The room itself was so modern and tastfully decorated with great facilities including a small fridge and comfortable beds. VERY good value for money, if I was to return to Glasgow I would definitely stay here again. We didn't use any of the bar or breakfast facilities so cannot comment on that.

It is difficult to put into words what we didn't like, simply because our stay was great. If I was to find any fault, it would be that our stay wasn't longer...

Everything! Modern, brand new, clean, comfy! The room is spacious, has everything you need, a proper double bed not two singles pushed together like most cheap hotels, plus super comfy hard mattress amazing for your back, clean white sheets and funny covers on the cushions, little fridge, desk, kettle, hair dryer and even a wind break tent thingy in the closet. Massive tv (who cares???) and the loo is state of the art with a huge monsoon shower (could’ve spent an hour in there!) Plus it’s right in the beach which you can see from the window if you crane your head out and right next to a coffee/oyster place amazing after a morning 5k beach side run! Will use again!

Didn’t use the in house instant coffee sachets yuuuuck. In this day and age could’ve splashed out on a £5 French press and real ground coffee … but the place downstairs is perfect anyways …

Stayed for one night on a Saturday. The staff were friendly. Easy check in. Room had everything we needed. The bathroom was very clean and the shower was amazing… I didn’t want to get out! Breakfast the next morning was so tasty and big portions. Lots of tea and coffee and milk in the room which was nice to see as in some hotels they give you one of each which is useless.

Breakfast on Sunday morning was only between 8.30 and 9.30am. And check out was earlier than expected. I think I missed that in the booking process. Would have been nice to be able to stay until 11 or 12 and have breakfast running later… especially on a Sunday.

A fantastic discovery! A lovely pub with accommodation. The warmest of welcomes from Helen on arrival and the room was lovely and spotlessly clean. George and the team couldn’t have been more welcoming. Breakfast is excellent as is the evening menu. Will definitely be returning.

The accomodation was nice and clean. Sufficient space, nice bed. Most impressive was the food! We had a delicious dinner and a very nice breakfast. The atmosphere in the pub was also very nice. And good art on the walls, as a nice bonus.

If I would be really picky, I could mention that it was a bit chilly in the pub for breakfast. For the rest I could really not give any constructive feedback to improve.

Where should I start,on arrival late Friday night we were told there was a flood by the entrance door,yes there was it looked like an open sower hole.got to the room only to find no TV no towels which we had to wait nearly two hours for 10 sheets of loo roll.the place is half done and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone
