The building was unmanned akin to an airbnb with entry via a door code system. The facilities were basic as I expected for the price, but the room was spotlessly clean, the bed very comfortable and free wi-fi included. There is a handy food pub immediately opposite and a chippie just around the corner. You can park right outside on the road and there are electric buses into the city centre from the main road just two minutes walk away. Administration and communication was excellent and there was someone helpful on the end of the ‘phone when I had a question. Very handy and well organised.

Everything was perfect! Really characterful and stylish b&b, with comfy beds and everything you could need. Breakfast was delicious and Piper and Terrence, the owners, couldn’t be lovelier. Also the garden is amazing!

Excellent Accommodation in prime position close to all amenities. Pleasant helpful staff, we had an excellent meal in the restaurant. Thankyou for a lovely stay, we will be back.

There were no brush or mop or scrape, so after having a shower there was water everywhere but no way of mopping the water up. Also wanting to brush the floor before leaving but not able to which was a shame. Now, we didnt stay long so only my son opted to shower to avoid getting water everywhere.

Restaurant, menu and staff were all excellent. The room was very comfortable.

Upon arrival we were allocated a room (room 4) which did not have a functional room electronic room key. It was explained that the door mechanism had been defective and they were waiting for it to be repaired. This was known prior to our arrival but nevertheless the room was still allocated out. The failed door lock meant that I had to ask the reception staff to open my door every time my wife ( who is disabled) and I wanted to enter our room. As my booking was made some months previous I asked for a room transfer but was told all rooms were occupied, albeit mainly by corporate visitors. As it was my wife’s birthday break, this issue put a downer on the 2 days we spent there.

Springs on one side of the bed not supportive which made it uno No dish cloth or cleaning materials left except 2 dishwasher tablets and two washing tablets. Very little work top in kitchen area

Small dirty rooms, poor conditions, away from the centre and any sort of shopping/food retailers. The breakfast was just a brown bag containing few items, none were eatable or nutritious. Had to walk for 20 mins to get to the first shop for any food.
