Ideal for a person who likes the basics like me. It had everything I needed the shower was excellent. The addition of the fridge and microwave is an excellent idea and as I stayed two nights I could put my milk in the fridge and have it for my cereal. Excellent value for money and wouldn't hesitate to stay again if I am ever in the area again. Very close to the showground which was ideal for me as that is where I was working for the weekend.

Beds were comfortable and the location is great. Only 15 minutes walk from city centre. Price was high but that was probably due to a show happening in town. Rooms are very compact with barely any space to move around.

Vending machines were empty and only other place was the bar but as we had kids we couldn't go up past 8 to even get a drink of juice.

We arrived and had been given a different code to the one which actually worked to access the box for the key to the building. Once in, the key pad on the door was a complete faff to get to work. Took ages to come on, we’d been given the code without stating it needed a symbol at the end of it. When the code was entered incorrectly and timed out, you had to wait a minute or so before the keypad even turned back on.and even then it was more by luck than judgement getting the keypad to accept our 3 finger touch to turn it back on. We wasted a good 10 minutes just trying to get into the actual apartment. When we entered the upstatirs was tiny and clinical looking. As we went down the wooden staircase the bedroom below was tiny and very drab. Let’s just say the photos which sold us were very well taken and made it appear far bigger and cleaner than it actually was. The bed cover had dirty stains on it, the cushions had makeup on them, there were spiders n the bed and ants on the floor. Upon returning from out night out the place was feeezing. There was no visible central heating to turn on and we had to give up trying to get the radiators to work, as they just isn’t turn on. Then you get to sleep on what felt like the softest matted you’ve ever lay on. And not in a good way. One of those where it’s lost its shape and rigidness and you just accept it is what it is. Added to that the hefty price we paid (cos it’s London baby!) it was utterly disappointing and tarnished what was meant to be a pleasant weekend away. I don’t mind paying a premium price for accommodation when the quality of the place reflects it. But this was not that. It felt like little to no effort had been made to make the place comfortable and it’s only purpose, to make money off unsuspecting guests. It just smacked of a complete lack of effort or care had gone into the place yet still charged you over the odds for it.
