Beautiful grounds, lovely room with leather sofa and good storage areas. All staff were very friendly and helpful. The young serving staff in both restaurants were a credit to the hotel. Food was delicious. I used the electric car charging points with no problem. A very relaxing break in a lovely part of the country.

Exit location fulfilling, Beautifully prepared and tasty breakfast. The location was perfect being very close to Keswick and all the local mountains and walks I really appreciated the kindness and professionalism of the owner who could not have been more helpful.

The breakfast service was outstanding. We had a full English breakfast, made fresh by the proprietors. The area was great for walking to the city center, which was only 5 minutes away.

The gardens and surrounding countryside, the excellent facilities, attentive and friendly staff, lovely room with comfortable bed. The whole experience was a delight!

It was quiet, parking available, staff very friendly and welcoming, good security overnight, nice big restaurant area, close to local convenience and a few eateries.

Bed was a bit too firm and small, could easily fit a queen bed into the double room, breakfast was mediocre but free at least, bit of a trek into town but close to bus.

Wouldn’t no because we couldn’t get init the code never worked tried for 30 mins while trying to ring the owner who’s number is not use

Never made it past then door what a joke it was 20 min taxi £30 later then another £30 back home because the code was not right and the number & email wasn’t in use !!!!

Probably the best hostel in London. Clean, comfortable beds with privacy curtains, own bar, beautiful building in a good location.

My dorm was opposite the bar/breakfast area. Going to the toilet in my PJ's while others drinking was slightly embarrassing but nothing major really

The location of the property was perfect, could walk straight out to the beach. Free parking as well which made things way easier

The property could have amenities, would be useful to have a fan as it can get warm, there were no paper towels in the kitchen, no cleaning products to wipe surfaces down with after cooking, the bathroom had no shampoo, conditioner or body wash would have been nice if it did, the hand wash in the bathroom was almost empty that I had to dilute whatever was left in the bottle with water to be able to use it, that should have been replaced before we checked in. There was also no tea coffee of sugar either. So if you book this place you will need to get all these things yourself.

Well there was no bath mats as it was slippery in the bath also no handrails to get in the bath as it big step over the bath.
