The food in the restaurant was amazing, the glamping pods were very comfortable, the staff went out of their way to show us around and make sure we were happy. We brought our little dog, and they offered to look after him while we used the sauna and hot tub. The owner invited us to look at the stars through his telescope and was happy to talk to us at length.”

We used the washing facility all our clothes came back clean ironed & folded smelling fabulous So look no further Beautiful place Beautiful people Thanks and look forward to coming back soon”

  Modern styled room and bathroom. Nice and clean. Spacious bedroom. Really comfy bed, pillows and super soft bed linen (black/white). Very kind staff! The room is on the ground floor. Very little noise from the street (however on Friday we could hear loud music from a bar nearby). Kettle, mugs, tea, coffee etc in the room. There's a microwave, a fridge/freezer, dinner plates, deep plates, forks, knives and spoons available in the shared kitchen. Perfect for heating ready meals from the supermarket or take away leftovers. Each room has a cabinet in the kitchen. You will find Iceland and other supermarkets nearby. Perfect location if you plan to go shopping on Ildford Lane (1 train stop away), Green Street (15 min by bus) and even Southall (direct rail: Elizabeth line). Direct train to Oxford Street (Tottenham Court Road), and Westfield Stratford Shopping Centre. Easy traveling to and from Stansted Airport via Stratford (2 train stops away from Forest Gate).

  A fantastic hotel in a great location in London. Close to the metro, very close to the park, where you can relax after hard work. Great, friendly staff - at all levels - from the nice gentleman at the door, the room ladies, the reception, restaurant staff - amazing. Huge culture. Great breakfasts, beautiful restaurant, perfect experience. In my rating 6/6. Very comfortable room with a fridge and tea and coffee station. Very clean, even sterile. Great working air conditioning - it will cool and heat - as you wish. Excellent. This hotel - and I have been to hundreds of others - is my number one in London. Now I know that my next stay there convinced me that I will never stay in another one. Excellent hotel. Thank you for allowing me to stay there.

  Our room was at the front of hotel overlooking the gorgeous grounds.The balcony was a bonus as the weather was unusually warm for the UK.The reception staff were excellent, friendly yet professional.Room was clean, well thought out in terms of utilising space & quite sound-proof considering the proximity to the road.

  Although drinks at Alexanders bar were good we found the menu to be uninspiring & the meals we decided on were bland. In the hotel bar we had problems with after dinner liquer coffees & lattes as they were quite cold.However we didnt complain as I think perhaps the young lady was not conversant with the machine, so maybe some training was needed. Breakfast in the hotel was excellent, best of the three hotels we visited that week.Plenty of choice on continental & cooked counters & staff very helpful.

  The Old Library was full of character, very clean, well equipped and in a very tranquil and attractive setting. Our hosts, Rowena and Pat, were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay there. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Old Library. It was also very spacious and comfortable.
