Positive section of review
The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect, being on the seafront within throwing distance of the beach. The room we stayed in had very effective double glazing which meant we didn't hear any of the noise from partygoers or groups sitting outside bars, which was brilliant. The staff were great, very friendly and accommodating. The facilities in the room were good, with Nespresso machine as well as tea-making. The treats, bed and water/food bowls for our dog as well were really appreciated.

The pillows were very soft and so not the most comfortable for me - but I can be quite pillow fussy! Not a problem for us but our room was up 4 flights of stairs, which could be tricky for someone with mobility issues.

The apartment was absolutely spotless, and we were warmly welcomed by Lisa, a fount of knowledge on all things local. We also appreciated the welcome box and milk in the fridge. Everything we needed in the kitchen was provided. Great to have free parking too.

The apartment is perfect for a family with children but not so much for 3 elderly women, although the wetroom was a definite selling point. My sisters both found the beds too soft, and a bedside table would have been appreciated in the smaller room. The WiFi was also a wee bit frustrating. Niggles only, overall it was fabulous.

The hotel is located right on the seafront and my room even had a view over the lough and to the ferry. There are seats outside and you can sit and watch the world go by. Food in the hotel was very good quality both for the evening meal and the breakfast.

The restaurant and breakfast room was a bit basic in terms of decor. Melamine tables and bare walls.

Room was very nice,bed comfy,shower great.Bedlinen lovely. I think there was a funny noise,quite early--either staff hoovering? or from the lift? Breakfast--didn't bother ,we thought overpriced for what we wanted.

Excellent location. Very nice English gentleman in reception that organised my taxi. The second gentleman is great as well. Staff is very accommodating.. Great breakfast. Overall, great hotel. Very central.
